Google more or less admitted they fucked up with that one, and probably decided to start all over again.
So your only source for software updates are going to be aftermarket, since Google is trying hard to forget the Nexus Q as we know it.
It'll be a smashing success, just like google+
But... I thought you guys hated the OUYA because it's a gaming console that plays android games (which is what it was designed to do), yet Google now seem to be considering the same thing and you are supporting the idea.

It wasn't shit when being designed, so the latter accusation is pure bullshit and you know it.
The first one however is up for discussion.

They would have a hard time to have themselves a proper place between the current giants.
Google has the money to hire some really good engineers and designers.
I think if this is true, then its definately going to be a competition for nintendo atleast.

I don't really think Nintendo is particularly competing with anyone in the games industry, and I don't see that changing.
Their first party support is unrivaled and with that you have a lot of loyal fans. The WiiU may not be selling too well right now, but as soon as they release new Smash Bros, Legend of Zelda and/or Mario platformer (a la Mario Galaxy as opposed to New super mario and such) that will change and the console will be back on it's feet.
I mean they could announce a Pokemon MMO coming to WiiU tomorrow and that would be all the console would really need to skyrocket in sales.
