Typical atheist reply. Just because you can't see something, doesn't mean it's not real.
What evidence do you have that makes your shitty fairy tale true
Lol Christmas isn't stolen from pagans.
Yes it was. And so was easter and probably a dozen other religious holidays. Where is your god now?
Why should you have to be all peaceful, loving and joyous moreso during certain times of the year, is my question? (For the non-religious folk out there)
Because it's the new years. You don't need to be religious to care for the lives of others.
Why should you have to be all peaceful, loving and joyous moreso during certain times of the year, is my question? (For the non-religious folk out there)
Ey? No you can be loving and peacefull all year around, the holiday simply celebrates the love and peace.
I'm going to stop now, and not humor your... theory. I'll say one last thing though, Christmas. See what I did there?
Christ-Massacre See what I did there? :smug:
What evidence do you have that makes your shitty fairy tale true
Read the Bible. I don't have time to paraphrase a 2000 page book.
Read the Bible. I don't have time to paraphrase a 2000 page book.
Allow me to fix this.
Read the Bible. I don't have time to come up with an argument from a 2000 year old book with no scientific or historical credibility.

Christmas Christ mass Did you seriously never notice that before?
Santa Satan Did you seriously never notice that before
Santa Satan Did you seriously never notice that before
Santa isn't a religious symbol. He symbolizes materialism.
Read the Bible. I don't have time to paraphrase a 2000 page book.
So Christianity is true because the Bible says it's true and the Bible is true because the Bible says it's true? Also, watch that video posted earlier please.
I'm not sure if this has been posted yet in full form yet, but you have to realize that civilizations have celebrated the winter solstice by giving gifts far before the birth of Christ. The Pagans did, the Romans did, and Christianity only continued it by claiming that Jesus was born then. More on topic, this is just stupid. Just because he's atheist doesn't mean every religious decoration should send him into a rage.
Santa isn't a religious symbol. He symbolizes materialism.
Santa = Saint Nicholas Saint = religious symbol You get a box
Santa isn't a religious symbol. He symbolizes materialism.
Watch the video.
Santa isn't a religious symbol. He symbolizes materialism.
He symbolises giving to others more so than religion now.
Fucking hell faze, you're worse than Lankist. I DUN AGREE WIF YOU SO IMA RESORT TO WORD TWISTING TO WIN :derp:
Santa = Saint Nicholas Saint = religious symbol You get a box
Not true in today's world.
Not true in today's world.
Neither is Christmas being about some pagan holiday or even Jesus
Santa = Saint Nicholas Saint = religious symbol You get a box
Saint Nicholas was merely created in image by New York to re-upstate their Dutch Heritage. He is a Dutch Saint, however, and had the most rad beard too.
Santa isn't a religious symbol. He symbolizes materialism.
No no no. Santa symbolizes breaking into your house and eating all your mince pies, drinking your milk leaveing you a box of junk then leaveing in a magical sleigh.
Not true in today's world.
And what a good world it is now. No sarcasm in this post what so ever.
Neither is Christmas being about some pagan holiday or even Jesus
Today, unfortunately not as much as it used to be.
You're atheist because you think that's badass.
I don't know about other people, but I'm an atheist because I'd rather have logic and science be a basis for my morals and trepidations and not an old book that claims the universe moves around the sun.
an old book that claims the universe moves around the sun.
The Bible doesn't say that...
Then shouldn't the guy ask for the entire tree removed since it's there in celebration of a Christian holiday?
Not true in today's world.
both of them give/gave gifts. [editline]06:56PM[/editline]
Then shouldn't the guy ask for the entire tree removed since it's there in celebration of a Christian holiday?
christmas is a fairly secular holiday nowadays.
Then shouldn't the guy ask for the entire tree removed since it's there in celebration of a Christian holiday?
Again, old people complain about stupid things.
Read the Bible. I don't have time to paraphrase a 2000 page book.
Tell me, how do you know it's the coherent word of a cosmic universe creating god? Lemme guess, you rely on circular logic. ;)
The Bible doesn't say that...
it does say other things that are just as ridiculous.
Today, unfortunately not as much as it used to be.
It stopped being a religious holiday as soon as the government made it a statutory holiday.
I may be atheist, but I don't see a problem with christmas trees everywhere, still has a good meaning; giving.
