Looks like we're up to an inch in Richmond. Still okay to drive as long as you're not an idiot, but since people were already driving like morons when there was nothing but salt on the road, that's not a given.
When i read the title i was like "What? why? Are they going to discontinue WoW?"
... I'm such a dumbass sometimes :v:
So far 5-8 inches of snow. The shower has died down a bit, making me believe that this is all we're gonna get. There are still calls for snow until 7pm tomorrow, so Saturday is where we might lose our shit.
It's been rather lackluster in PA.
This is the view from my dorm window in northern Virginia, it's not that impressive really. It'll probably get worse though.

Starting to pick up now. Now up to 10 inches and counting. Snow's coming down hard.
What a wonderful time for the $500 generator to blow it's engine.
It's starting to come down pretty hard in Harrisburg area, at about 2 inches in the past hour
Started snowing about 2 hours ago here in coastal central NJ, there's a decent covering of snow on the ground and I've heard what I think to be at least one car accident outside. We're expecting to get anywhere from 10 inches to 2 feet of snow.
Remember to put your windshield wipers up. I've lost 2 pairs of windshield wipers to ice.

Good thing my parents were kind enough to put mine up for me. I've been driving less than a year and didn't know that, and I just got new wipers.
Starting to see some snowflakes here in CT.
We've been upgraded to a blizzard warning here in CT, 8-12" on the way. Fine time for the snowblower to break :v:
Still hoping I have a short day at work, but I doubt we'll get so lucky.
Shoveled the steps out back and within like 2 minutes they were full of snow.

So far here in Downingtown, we have over a foot of snow, roads are completely covered, my house is pretty much snowed in, except for the garage, and somehow, we still have power.
Lucky me.
Jesus Christ you guys are getting huge boners for a snowstorm. Moscow been like this for a week earlier. all will be fine
Consider that Russia is used to winters that are horrifically brutal.
Hard to tell, but I think we may be near 2 feet where I am now and it's still coming down and and supposed to keep going all day. I think we might end up near 3.
Damn you snow! All this shoveling I have to-do now!!!
Looks like I'm not getting back in time lol. What a shitty time to leave.
Now you know how we feel up here in New England every winter. Except this one, we barely got any snow.
I guess I know how you guys feel every winter. You have it easy.
Surprisingly, where I live on the border with Georgia we got a light dusting of snow, though a good bit's melted already. Though it seems that's nothing compared to just a few states north. 0_o
However, I am worried that this might give my area another bad ice storm like we had a year or two ago.
Be smart and you'll get through this. To me, all I see is good snowmobile weather.
Hope you have snow throwers though. :v:
I'm amazed the power didn't go off yet. 20-30 inches outside now, still in a state of emergency, and everyone in DC is sledding outside. Will send pics of the weather soon.
Im going down with it then
I already had to shovel my driveway three times just to take my dog out
We just lost heat where I live
Southeast PA here. Not sure how much longer we'll last. The snow is up to our thighs now. Send help.
Mainer here, living in northern central NC.
It was a decent storm, the cities just don't know how to handle it.
Despite having about a dozen properly equipped plow rigs driving around, they never used them for more then spreading brine.
They cleared the main highway enough for a 2wd vehicle, however, most side streets required AWD/4WD if there were any hills. FWD/RWD with snows wouldn't cut it.
My truck did pretty good in it, glad I got rid of the highway style all terrains and got more aggressive all terrains. Only thing I wish is that I had 255/85/16 instead of 285/75/16 tires.
Around 9PM, it turned to freezing rain. My windshield sprayer doesn't work, I had to make a spray bottle of deicer and spray down the windshield now and then.
Also reporting in from Southeast PA
I haven't seen this much snow since like 2007
