I am curious if the wwe will make a tasteless storyline out of this.
Maybe and if they did I'm sure they could do it tastefully and not another Billy and Chuck storyline.
Is this guy new to WWE?
I haven't watch wwe in years.
He's been in the WWE for a couple of years now. He's either a jobber or a mid-carder.
whatever, still not real and serious
Whoa, you've just made a shocking discovery no one else ever has!
People don't watch WWE for it to be real. They watch it to be entertained, and yes it is entertaining.
whatever, still not real and serious
but they are hugging for others to see on television. did you think there was more to wrestling?
Stopped watching wwe when the storylines started being horrible. Sometimes I miss the attitude era. Back then I actually hated and loved the wrestlers, now it's just bland
The wrestlers used to be quite comedic, good days when Kurt Angle was bullied by Stone Cold. That doesn't happen much now..
whatever, still not real and serious
I bet you hate movies too.
I'm really happy for Darren, hopefully since he is in a storyline already they dont shoehorn his personal life into his character as the main focal point for ridicule.
whatever, still not real and serious
For not real they get some damn good emotion going.

Not serious? Volk Han would like a word sir (Hint: Hes the guy who got Ken Shamrock and Fedor into MMA when they signed up to RINGS)

Well he sure picked the right job. Rolling around half naked with other muscular guys.
That's gonna make wrestling awkward.
haha yeah if the wwe became saturated with homoeroticism it would surely be the downfall of wrestling!
a person who points out that wrestling is fake/scripted is like that guy that points out an obvious photoshop as if he has made a mindblowing discovery.
whatever, still not real and serious
Of course it is, Jesus. Why is there always one guy who thinks he's being clever by pointing out the obvious? It's a show, like Breaking Bad.
What amazes me is that people still think that most people think wrestling is real. Like, it's pretty much common knowledge now. The wrestlers themselves even go on record and say that it's planned sometimes. And yet there are people who still go "Uh...you DO know this is fake, right?"
It doesn't even matter if it is or not. It's just an argument people use to seem superior to others.
What amazes me is that people still think that most people think wrestling is real. There ARE a few people out there who do, but they're mostly kids anyway.
It's because of shit like this

Which made wrestling so popular
The character and personas were fantastic
The worst they get are deliberate cuts using razor blades and a few bruises. It's insanely controlled and well planned, and none of their tools are rubber stuff either, they just know how to use them properly to make it look real with minimal injury and pain.
Mick Foley would like a word with you.
I remember I went to a wrestling show years ago and on the way back from the bathroom I found a script book that contained all the events planned for that night, maybe I still have it
That's gonna make wrestling awkward.
something that's not sexual at all is somehow made awkward due to somebody's sexuality?
whhhhhhhhhhh
Well John Cena is proud, and by his reaction it seems like he already knew about it. Most likely a lot of the WWE guys already know as well, so it's not going to make anything awkward.

John Cena seems like a really cool guy.
I hated his WWE persona and The Marine was terrible, but he does seem like the kind of guy who'd happily help you carry your new couch up the stairs to your apartment.
andy kaufman is my favorite wrestler
Fuck I love the WWE.
Can't stand motherfuckers who can't at least respect the wrestling business and the wrestlers themselves, regardless if they like it or not. I tend not to waste my time on them.
Anyways, seems WWE is kind of capitalizing on this news, they already confirmed D. Young to be in the new game, but let's hope they don't turn this into some kind of terribad storyline.
Umm people have died you clod. Owen Hart comes to mind.
Most of the really dangerous weapons such as barbed wire bats and sledgehammers are fake and sometimes it's REALLY obvious.
Actually, I own a barbed wire bat that was used in the ring by a former WWF buddy of mine, and I'll tell you, it's anything but fake. The bat is as heavy as can be, and the barbed wire... well, you have to be careful with the thing

I wish professional wrestling could be renamed to something else, like entertainment wrestling. That way the term would be free for the actual sport of wrestling, which people perform as a profession.

What you're referring to is Olympic Wrestling. What they do in the ring is actually professional Wrestling. Always has been, always will be.
Can somebody tell me if he's black or just really tan because I can't tell, he has white features but dark skin. He looks like John Cena fell asleep in a tanning booth.

I'd be happy if the guy got a main event push out of this TBH hell make him the first black WWE champion.

He's John Cena's tanned identical twin brother.
I do hope this doesn't cause a drop in viewership or attendance in future RAW or Smackdown shows.

more like Paul Walker's

They already renamed the WWF to world wrestling entertainment
