Right, because that's how TV shows are made. :downs:
That isn't the case for South Park. They make their episodes fast.
Ah well, at least they didn't get accused of it and deny it until the very end.
Looks like they still might get sued.
College Humor doesn't produce the stuff, just hosts it. It'd be up to the people who made the video to sue, if they wanted to.
Ironic how a parody is considered an original video.
Thats like saying Weird Al is the biggest freeloader in the music industry. [editline]7:36PM[/editline] Which he isn't.
South Park has been doing parodies for years now. I don't understand the argument.
You clearly don't know shit all. South Park episodes have always been created last minute. How do you think they managed the Presedential episode which needed to have the president who wasn't elected until the day before the episode or so in the episode as the president? Last minute shit. In short, don't talk.
I thought that in the commentary for that episode the creators said they made it for Obama, and if McCain would have won they would have been like 'well too bad, you guys voted for the wrong guy'.
The college humor one didn't have the guy doing the Hans Zimmer soundtrack in the background, so it is automatically inferior.
South Park has never been good, guess it can be chuckle-worthy at times though.
I bet you still think Family Guy is funny huh?
The parody works better in a cartoon anyway.
See it's funny because South Park hasn't been good since like 2004.
I don't think that the new ones are superior to the old ones, but hey, at least it's better than family guy,
I bet you still think Family Guy is funny huh?
I haven't seen any new ones because I just watch reruns on Adult Swim but yes it is. [editline]25th October 2010[/editline] It's better than anything South Park can come up with now.

An opinion? On a forum? INCONCEIVABLE!
I haven't seen any new ones because I just watch reruns on Adult Swim but yes it is. [editline]25th October 2010[/editline] It's better than anything South Park can come up with now.
You say that because you're watching family guy reruns. I admit Family Guy back then was really funny, and is really the only reason why I watch Adult Swim because they don't show the new shitty episodes. Least South Park is actually trying and has been hilarious lately.
college humor starts to sucks after some shitty videos
well looks like they are running out of ideas.
Well after 12 seasons, what would you expect?
I'll still going to enjoy South Park. I still find it funny and that won't change anytime soon. A-fuck-a you dolphrin!
i really don't care if South Park did plagiarize CH all i care about is that they infuse it with THEIR kind of humor * btw the Insheeption episode was pretty funny so fuck off
No guys, that's the joke. Just imagine the producers all huddled around a table watching a silver spinning top, and then the sweat starts to form on their brows and as the top tumbles over, they realize that the college humor version was actually an Inception to give them all an idea to make an Inception parody. Logic.
They need to go deeper.
South Park is still at its peak. Anyone who disagrees hasn't seen the Testicular Cancer episode.
South Park pretty much gets better with every new episode. South Park started off as a show about 4 boys that say a bunch of bad words that was amusing a long time ago especially for kids since it was all new, but over time it became a show that actually stuck with it's own name (The town of south park and the people who live there), and with that name the guys over at south park studios have the ability to be just as creative as they want without having anything sensible related get in the way of their production. Every episode is typical, but in a way that makes watchers say "What will they do next?" So if south park isn't a good creative show, then niether are the rest of the adult humor cartoons out there.

they made the episode in two days?
they made the episode in two days?
One week. One week. They occasionally get a head start during the off season but typically they do not do any work during the off season.
It wouldn't be a different ending, they basically just had to cut and paste one into the others spots and change a few seconds of dialouge. It's not like writing two endings, but still, work has to be done last minute.
With the "About Last Night", they had it all ready to go, predicting Obama's election.
