Hi
don't worry crap you're the good texan
How about we don't promote being straight, bi or homosexual at all, just tell people that if they attack others for their sexual orientation then they will be punished under the law. Its impossible to fund campaigns to tell everybody that homosexuality is normal and stuff when you have loads of people who don't give a shit about what they are told because of how they were raised.
The groups are there to protect homosexual students and let them talk to others who share their plight. It's necessary because bigots exist.
something about that whole "heterosexuals being bullied in school" argument. lolwut since when did anyone go "HAH! YOU'RE SO STRAIGHT. YOU DUMB STRAIGHT-.. STRAIGHTGOT. YEAH! THATS WHAT YOU ARE, A STRAIGHTGOT. GTFO STRAIGHTGOT"
Joes, please be considerate of other people's feelings... "straightgot" is an extremely insensitive word. Please keep in mind that rich, white heterosexuals have been discriminated against for centuries. It's not a laughing matter
don't worry crap you're the good texan
I voted for Bill White, just sayin'. Fails the Lemon Test and is therefore unconstitutional.
He talks about the outcry against a bigoted shirt as if it's a bad thing My god Texas what the hell are your politicians doing and why are you voting for them
Uhh... a Politician is representing his people... and you have a problem with it? It's called a Democracy for a reason, you can't have democracy if you are going to act as if a minority doesn't have a voice because it represents something you don't like Also a facility that promotes 'traditional values' doesn't seem that bad, considering it only caters to church going idiots who are a minority indeed, and unlike Tennessee going full retard it doesn't ban facilities for homosexuals Now if my State's politicians will take the same mindset they have with guns and expand it cannabis [editline]25th April 2011[/editline]
Fails the Lemon Test and is therefore unconstitutional.
Like it or not 'Traditional Values' does not equal Religious duties
Do you even know why the homosexuals and bisexuals got a center in the first place?
I wouldn't care if I did. Funding should be shared equally between gay and straight people. Just because they take it up the arse doesn't mean they should get to sponge off the state more than anybody else.

There are centres for homosexuals because homosexuals lack a voice in many cases and require support. Heterosexuals do not.
don't worry crap you're the good texan
Hey what about me? Me and you tend to get along as long as we don't get sucked into a shitstorm over religion which I always too into since I have to constantly defend Muslims from insane Christians on other message boards
No one said you had to be educated to vote.
You don't seem to grasp the concept of oppression.
I understand it completely. I'm not basing my statement on oppression, I'm basing it on fairness. No wonder you're oppressed if you're being treated better by the government than any other person. See, if gays went about their lives as everyone else, keeping their relationships behind closed doors, not going on about how "everyone hates them" and wanting money from governments, people might be a little bit nicer about it. And before you mention it, yes, I think PDA of straight couples should be kept to a minimum too. But not illegal like. The "Hurr durr it's because of my sexuality" argument is overused and anybody using it should be shot.
You don't seem to grasp the concept of oppression.
Gays aren't being lynched and forced to be straight in Texas unlike the South, the fuck are you talking about oppression?
Gays aren't being lynched and forced to say they are straight in Texas unlike the South, the fuck are you talking about oppression?
Oppression is not defined as "lynching fags." Try again next time.
Uhh... a Politician is representing his people... and you have a problem with it? It's called a Democracy for a reason, you can't have democracy if you are going to act as if a minority doesn't have a voice because it represents something you don't like
oh be quiet, homophobic bigotry doesn't deserve an equal voice

You are seriously suggesting that homosexuals should hide their sexuality because it makes you and others uncomfortable. You have no right to preach about fairness.
You are an absolute cretin. You are seriously suggesting that homosexuals should hide their sexuality because it makes you and others uncomfortable. You have no right to preach about fairness.
Read the comment below. I think the same should be applied to straight couples - PDA of either kind will offend people, and so should be kept to a minimum.
fair adjective, -er, -est, adverb, -er, -est, noun, verb –adjective 1. free from bias, dishonesty, or injustice: a fair decision; a fair judge.p
Seen as my statement is applied to homosexual as well as straight couples, it's hardly bias or injust is it? [editline].[/editline] If you're that offended by a statement like that, you need serious mental help.
Read the comment below. I think the same should be applied to straight couples - PDA of either kind will offend people, and so should be kept to a minimum.
Are you speaking as a Fundamentalist Christian? PDA factors into nothing so I don't know why you even brought it up in the first place. Indecency laws are just as oppressive and offensive as laws favoring heterosexuality.

And no one tells a straight couple holding hands to "Keep it in the bedroom."
oh be quiet, homophobic bigotry doesn't deserve an equal voice
It doesn't matter, he was voted into office to represent his constitute, which happens to be homophobic and bigoted, this is democracy
Are you speaking as a Fundamentalist Christian?
Athiest.. why would I believe in some non-existent entity?
PDA factors into nothing so I don't know why you even brought it up in the first place. Indecency laws are just as oppressive and offensive as laws favoring heterosexuality.
I never mentioned it being illegal. Just saying, the world would be a better place everyone kept their intimacy to themself. All it ever seems to do is cause arguments.
Except disallowing PDA is equally retarded and conservative. And no one tells a straight couple holding hands to "Keep it in the bedroom."
I haven't seen anybody telling a gay couple to either.
I never mentioned it being illegal. Just saying, the world would be a better place everyone kept their intimacy to themself.
Your opinion is invalid. Please give me a good reason why anybody should take you seriously when you hold such backwards views.
Your opinion is invalid. Please give me a good reason why anybody should take you seriously when you hold such backwards views.
What's so backwards about it? I generally don't care as much as the next guy - however, someone will. And someone will take offence to it.
Athiest.. why would I believe in some non-existent entity? I never mentioned it being illegal. [editline]25th April 2011[/editline] Also, people don't have the right to not be offended.
What's so backwards about it? I generally don't care as much as the next guy - however, someone will. And someone will take offence to it.
The Amish take offense to the use of electricity. Their views are just as invalid as yours.
Then you have not been gay, or been around gay people in the South.
Then don't live in the south? There's four homosexuals in my town, and nobody's bothered because they keep it pretty much to themself. That's the way it should be - it works.
The Amish take offense to the use of electricity. Their views are just as invalid as yours.
You still haven't explained why my views are invalid - I'm starting to think you don't have any reasoning for it.
Also, people don't have the right to not be offended.
Right, fair enough. Your taxes can pay for the cleanup/arrests. I'll just sit back relaxed knowing my tax money is going somewhere more worthwhile.
Nobody in Texas is forcing anyone to keep their intimacy behind doors, the fuck are you idiots going on about?
It doesn't matter, he was voted into office to represent his constitute, which happens to be homophobic and bigoted, this is democracy
nope. does your constitution not guarantee equality for all? a voice that says some are immoral and unequal has no place in the democracy that document creates.
Then don't live in the south? There's four homosexuals in my town, and nobody's bothered because they keep it pretty much to themself. That's the way it should be - it works.
Blacks should continue to be lynched -- it works. Jews should continue to be gassed -- it works. Women should continue to be raped -- it works.
