No More Medal Of Honor If It Doesn’t Sell 3 Million Units

Sorry, this game is utter shit.
It would be sad to see a good series dropped because the couldn't sell enough games. They'll probably sell 3 million easily, it looks like it will appeal to both BC2 and MW2 fans.
BC2 didn't do so well sales wise, so...
EA didn’t disclose the game’s budget but it seems to be huge, judging by the fact that they hired Linkin Park to soundtrack the game
You just lost a sale, EA, not that I was going to buy the game anyway.
No, that is not a hint that I was going to steal it instead.

Aren't you the idiot who hates literally anything popular? Like, you hate pop, rap, hip hop, r&b.
The fuck do you like, what IS THERE to like besides all that.
[editline]04:46PM[/editline]
Well I guess it seems like it huh, you hate MOH and Linkin Park, you probably hate The Beatles or something
I wasted money on Mafia II (which is an unfinished game, by the way, complete waste of money), I'm not blowing another $60 on a fucking generic-as-shit game.
Am I the only one who still plays those older games (Mafia, SimCity 4, GTSA, etc.)? Because people just don't know how to make a game anymore. It's just a cash cow to appeal to the MW2 fags.
I'm keeping all my old games so I can show my children what games used to be when they were good. Admittedly there is one good game: Red Dead Redemption. Rockstar didn't give in to the others yet.

Games aren't getting worse, your opinion is just different
/logic
:gonk:
Oh my fucking god is this that awful psudeo-rap I heard in the gameplay trailers
RIP MoH
Even MW2 had Hans Zimmer

It's kind of true though At least the cash cow part is. DLCs are a dime a dozen these days; whatever happened to free updates and patches or...*gasp* expansion packs?
Opinions differ, it's just that most of FP (hopefully) shares my opinion. :shobon:

Yeah, games are a big money maker now and the companies know it, so they try to get all the money they can. I do miss those days but no one is forcing you to get the DLC, and if you really want it then buy it, you can find those 15~ dollars by asking a bunch of people on the streets.
I would hope FP doesn't share your opinion, not because you're wrong, but because then they're just unpleasable and probably don't have much fun in life. Though...I guess they always have been.
It's sad that the gaming industry has turned to 12 year olds to make a profit.
They have loads of cash they can steal from their mommy's purse, and a complete disregard of anything besides graffix in a game. It's so easy to please them compared to the older generations.
MW3 will come bundled with the boxed set of Barney and Hooked on Phonics. And they're nothing we can do about it because 1 or 2 missed sales won't really make a difference if they can just shovel that shit out and sell millions of copies.

So? Maybe they think MW3 (or MW2 for that matter) would be a good game, and they would want to play with their friends online and stuff.
It doesn't matter whether they're bandwagoning or in your opinion, idiots, they're human and their opinion is worth just as much as your's or mine (especially about a video game, fun is all that matters when it comes to a Video Game really, and if they have a lot of fun then who are you to force your opinion of saying "oh this game sucks you're a fucking dumb 12 year old")
Modern shooter checklist:
Controversy? Check.
Rap music? Check.
Jelly? Check.
Claims to be realistic but is the complete opposite? Check.
Millions of 12 year olds? Check.
MoH will sell more than 3 million copies, but to me it's already dead.
This game is going to fail because of all the speculation from idiots who thought it was supporting terrorism just because you can play as terrorists in multiplayer mode.
Modern Warfare allows exactly the same thing.

So do any games that take place during any Iraqish war

Realism having no place in a game? Check.
Developers never claimed that it was realistic? Check.
I'm sorry but I remembered when a good storyline actually meant something.
Listening to reviews has lost me lots of money. End up buying supposedly "good" games that are actually a crock of shit, or even avoiding good ones that are supposedly bad. If I go by instinct I usually end up with nothing less than the best of the best.
Video game reviewers are not gamers.

Realism is hardly any fun to most people, and understandably so, it's boring to die in one shot and either wait a billion seconds to respawn, or have to go out of your way to get in the same position as you were before.

If anything that's going to boost sales.
If they never included the airport level in MW2 there wouldn't be any media controversy surrounding it, therefore it won't appeal to them little kiddies.
I'm sorry but I remembered when a good storyline actually meant something.
Okay? Not all games need to be a fucking Shakespeare play, they're there for fun, the story needs to make that possible and anything more is just extra

Nothing like extreme realism, but a line has to be drawn somewhere
Wooooo James Bond shit
lol I knife u from 10 feet away
omg war so dramatic kill them brownies/ruskies pew pew

Shakespeare play? No.
But at least they can make a story sounds like it's written by 5th graders, for 5th graders.

No, a line doesn't need to be drawn, they're video games not a live action movie. A video game can be anything it wants to be

An entertaining story is all you need, it doesn't need to be much more.

Yeah man that airport level really funneled those sales it's so realistic and gritty there are no kids at all who play MW2 because it's just too mature for them
I'd be surprised if it did sell that many copies. The beta was horrible and nothing can fix it.

Not really, I mean it was alright, just because you thought it was terrible doesn't mean everyone else will

But it's not. Hungry Hungry Caterpillar may have been entertaining for me when I was 5 but not so much any more.
I don't know maybe reading actual books as a kid allowed me to see how shitty some stories are.
No
A+ response I can see I'm talking with a real professional here

EXACTLY, you aren't the game's target audience just like how you currently are not "Hungry Hungry Caterpillar"'s target audience. Both MW2 and HHC and good for their audience
But Allied Assault is awesome!
I still play it. I love the soundtrack, it's amazing. :smith:
