then enjoy your potential second and third degree burns?

lol not from a molotov dude.
lol not from a molotov dude.
what are you filling your molotovs with? water and alcohol?
gasoline and styrofoam? cause that shit WILL cause third degree burns.
your clothes will be ruined, but you probably won't have much in terms of burns unless you fail to put it out or someone actually domes you.
this btw is not really going to happen if you are a cop since you are geared in fireproof shit.

i really don't think you appreciate how dangerous fire and flammable sticky liquids are
or how much kinetic force a brick to the head can impart on the neck(more than enough to snap it)
i'd say talking about the means police use, as well as the morality of attacking the police, is incredibly on topic since this thread is about someone using violence against the police.
i agree, i was referring to all the blowharding and meaningless posts about how much posters dislike other posters. it's just toxic and annoying and entirely irrelevant.
[editline]22nd December 2013[/editline]
i've never been maced or cocktailed so i can't really say which i'd prefer. i feel like cocktails are often poorly made and easier to dodge as opposed to a cop rolling up and macing you in the face, but i dunno.

one does potential permanent damage and burns
one hurts like shit for a day or two, and bear mace is much worse than police pepper spray.

no a molotov does not do potential permanent damage to a cop.
no a molotov does not do potential permanent damage to a cop.
i don't know how or why you think this
riot cops still have soft spots not covered by armor or flame retardant pads.
no a molotov does not do potential permanent damage to a cop.
It is bloody fire. Fire hurts. Intense fire causes permanent burn wounds.
I am almost wondering if your definition of molotov is a whiskey bottle with 'molotov' scrabbled on it.
lol not from a molotov dude.
I would let you teargas the living shit out of me if you'd let me toss a proper molotov (Read: Not bottle of cheap vodka with a rag in it) at you.

how many molotovs even hit their target?
how many tear gas canisters hit their target?
a molotov isn't an effective weapon, it's just easy to make.
[editline]22nd December 2013[/editline]
hell look at how long the molotovs even burn for.
[editline]22nd December 2013[/editline]
they are mostly a tool to try and contain police aggression and hopefully push them back away from the protest a little bit so people can reorganize.
so you're saying that because most people throwing them have shit aim, that if one did hit a cop, the cop would be totally okay?
maybe if he was running around on heroin or some shit, but otherwise he's going to be injured at least a little bit.

Are you seriously trying to justify the use of molotovs?

it isn't shit aim, it's the fact that molotovs aren't effective weapons for harming people.
Are you seriously trying to justify the use of molotovs?
idk why you can justify the cops violently dispersing protests but when protesters try and disperse police suddenly it's so terrible.

just because you've thrown them at your friends doesn't mean you know a whole lot about the dangers of fire and fire based weapons.

Police use non-lethal stuff to disperse riots, you're talking about lighting someone on fucking fire.
He is trying to justify violence when he sees fit, but as soon as the targeted audience fights back "POLICE BRUTALITY, POLICE BRUTALITY, lets quickly ignore the fact that we provoked them by beating them shit out of them! POLICE BRUTALITY, POLICE BRUTALITY!"
Really, all his posts about advocating violence against police officers makes me seriously ponder if he is actually a convicted felon or something.
Police use non-lethal stuff to disperse riots, you're talking about lighting someone on fucking fire.
police don't use non-lethal stuff. they use "less-lethal". most of their methods are still deadly.
So if the police started throwing molotovs at the protesters then that would be just fine?
So you are saying that because the protesters are bad at throwing the molotovs, the risk of hitting cops is low. But if they are so bad at throwing, couldn´t they accidently hit fellow protesters? And don´t tell me that being engulfed in flames won´t kill a person.
police don't use non-lethal stuff. they use "less-lethal". most of their methods are still deadly.
rubber bullets and beanbag rounds are pretty non lethal

That doesn't look very lethal to me. It'll hurt for a while but it won't cripple you or leave you with permanent scars.

"In Israel, CS gas was reported to be the cause of death of Jawaher Abu Rahmah on 31 December 2010,[12] although the Israel Defense Forces have questioned the veracity of the report. Other reports[13] suggest the cause of death was in fact the impact of a high-velocity CS gas canister to the chest. In Egypt, CS gas was reported to be the cause of death of several protesters in Mohamed Mahmoud Street near Tahrir square during the November 2011 protests."

[editline]23rd December 2013[/editline]
the previous paragraph states:
"When CS is metabolised, cyanide can be detected in human tissue.[11] According to the United States Army Center for Health Promotion and Preventive Medicine, CS emits "very toxic fumes" when heated to decomposition, and at specified concentrations CS gas is an immediate danger to life and health. They also state that those exposed to CS gas should seek medical attention immediately.[2]"
[editline]23rd December 2013[/editline]
so much for non-lethal, eh?
CS gas and tear gas are different things
and yes, getting hit by a high velocity canister is lethal, I don't think anyone's defending the times where tear gas canisters crack skulls or hurt people directly. they are not meant to be used like that.

First off, it really is bullshit saying she should get away with this. People really would have flipped shit if it was the other way around. And second:

They aren't you nitwit, if someone wanted to hit someone they would just use a normal god damn bullet, why would they waste the money on buying a canister that shoots out gas just to try to hit someone with it? The entire purpose of it is that "crowd dispersal" you were preaching with molotovs, except it doesn't light everything on fucking fire.
