ATTENNTION WYLL! Nobody cares. Literally nobody. (User was banned for this post ("Why reply?" - Starpluck))
I don't care, your site changing isn't anything important to us. (User was banned for this post ("Why Reply?" - Starpluck))
The site never works for me, always gets an, "Error 118 (net::ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT): The operation timed out."
May I suggest centering the comment box?
What I want to know is how iWyll even got in as an author for this site.
Wyll is the owner of Garrys Nightmare
It looks better than before, at the very least.
Does anybody honestly follow this news site?
It looks better than before, at the very least.
A good layout doesn't make up for bad articles.
I like it, a lot better than the previous one
About the comment box. I work on it right now. I know that it does not work at the moment. It was not possible to fix it while in maintanance mode. To the people who say they don't care. If you don't care why even bother commenting here. Edit: Comments work now and are centred.
Take a page out of User Created's book, have it a simple layout and GOOD content.
Wow, this site is horrible. Just take a look at that Sgt. Sgt interview :v:
Large man hours doing what? http://themeforest.net/item/zombizness-premium-php-template-with-seo-url-cms/150118 But it's certainly better than before.
You have no idea how terribly broken the theme was. The way it handles widgets and the blog posts is stupid: We had to do a fair bit of custom coding.

I don't think black text on a black background is such a good idea. I nearly couldn't see that text.
[img_thumb]http://puu.sh/1gTs[/img_thumb] I don't think black text on a black background is such a good idea. I nearly couldn't see that text.
Thanks mate, we're fixing it right now. Edit: (I noticed this from earlier)
you just said that 1. the text is rendered by javascript. wow 2. chrome dev version causes this. what
The text is indeed rendered by Javascript. A few years ago, most websites would use flash to render dynamic, barely-aliased, chunks of text put out by the CMS. The new versions of Wordpress now (thankfully) support the use of http://typeface.neocracy.org/. Basically, it's much more lightweight than rendering using flash, but leaves custom fonts looking smooth and flushed. Now I understand that some of you who think you know somethign about web design would make comments such as:
So you're going to tell me that this: [img_thumb]http://ahb.me/2cZL[/img_thumb] is javascript? I'm not going to bother arguing any further
But this is simply using a simple class ID to define that text as needing to be rendered by the typeface.js. Anyway, I'm trying to explain in laymen's terms here, but basically there's something wrong with your browser that's not running this file properly. It's a fairly simple script that's used everywhere on the internet now-a-days, check out the webpage for more information :P Sorry if that came across a little rudely.
Might be good to mention that prof is the co-owner of Garry's Nightmare

The old one was good this one is just a nightmare
Can someone provide me with the background image that site uses? I love it!
It's a fairly simple script that's used everywhere on the internet now-a-days
Not really.
Can someone provide me with the background image that site uses? I love it!
This? [img_thumb]http://garrysnightmare.com/background.jpg[/img_thumb]
Can you PM the basic background tiled image to me?
Not really.
I can tell you from experience that is is. You are obviously entitled to your own opinion, (hell, you might be a web designer from all I know) but it really is. :S
Show me some websites that use it or better yet, a document explaining why it's a good idea.
I'm sure someone like yourself is capable of Googling that by their own
He's probably running NoScript which would explain the issue running the JS.
The only thing I have running that goes anywhere near the page content is AdBlockPlus. If it's getting blocked by that, you're doing something very, very wrong
I'm sure someone like yourself is capable of Googling that by their own
I'm not going to continue arguing with someone who can't even be bothered to come up with his own arguments.
Overv, are you really so bored as to argue about this at all? If you have proof to support you being right post it, else don't post anything and try to learn something.
