I would actually encourage independents to vote for Santorum in the primaries. Way better having a crazy asshole with a ton of dirt on him then a rich asshole with a ton of dirt on him.
A couple of reasons why this man would throw the USA back to the stone age.
I don't like Santorum either, but are you serious? How did we get where we are in the first place without that "stone age" period that laid the groundwork for the US?
Romney: Gingrich can't keep a wife!
Gingrich: Santorum is a moron!
Santorum: Romney has no values!
Paul: Those three have terrible economic policies
Seems to me Ron Paul is the only one that will make sure we don't completely crash within the next 4-8 years. Everyone else is just one extreme or another of an extremely opinionated, destructive, and unconstitutional stance. We should do things how they were before the mob of sucky politicians showed up and turned America into what it is now. He's pretty much the only one who isn't selling out, or otherwise covered in the typical political dirt.
Regardless of your stance on abortion, you have to at least agree that abortion is comparatively more humane than most of the alternatives
Or, y'know, people could just not have unprotected sex instead of taking that risk and making selfish decisions about the very future of another person who has no ability to speak or decide for himself. Once it takes a vaguely human shape and has a heart beat, I can't believe someone ciould do that. But what do I know, I'm some kind of old fashioned and unwashed political Phillistine.
The only possibly valid thing here would maybe the family man trait. I think being close to your family like that is a good quality, though how politically significant it is I can't say much for.
Good thing, but hardly something to base a presidential vote on.
Methinks cuddling with a stillborn is a little too close to one's family.
If he wins the election I would seriously consider moving to Europe.
Santorum really doesn't seem like a bad guy, even though it's really safe to say most of us disagree with his policies and beliefs, it seems like he generally wants to do what he thinks is right and loves 'merica.
but yeah, wouldn't vote for him, not by a long shot
Uhm, OP, i think you misspelled the title, it should be 10 reasons NOT to vote for anal lube seapage.
everytime I read a thread that has something to do with American politics, I feel really bad for you guys that have to put up with the retards running for president.
They're all ignorant reasons to vote for him, but simply saying "he's not person X" is just down right retarded.
And since when is "fighting AIDS" a conservative position - let alone any kind of political position?

9. Santorum’s big on compassionate conservatism. Though he gets the most ink for controversial stances on issues such as homosexuality, Santorum has also been a leading advocate for funding to fight AIDS in the Third World and has led conservative responses to poverty. “A lot of people have a hard time getting Rick Santorum because they’re used to a debate between liberalism and complete free-market approach and he’s not either of those things,” says Michael Gerson, a Washington Post columnist and former speechwriter for President George W. Bush.
You've misunderstood the point. It's not saying that fighting AIDS is a conservative idea but a compassionate idea. The sentence might be rephrased: "He expresses his conservative views by opposing homosexuality but shows compassion by fighting AIDS".

If by other candidates you mean Newt Gingrich, then, yes, I can agree with that.

I wouldn't be surprised, if they're still making Assassin's Creed games 30 years from now, if Rick Santorum was part of some Templar conspiracy.

I wouldn't be surprised either.
Uh OP I think your title is broken. It should be '10 Reasons not to support Rick Santorum'.

I wasn't aware there was a prophylactic on the market with a 100% rate of success. Care to tell me what it is?
He can spend time with his family when he loses.
Well he's not Newt Gingrich, and he's probably also not Hitler. Great, I know who I'm voting for.

Seriously, I'm amazed that Obama would have to do anything to get reelected at this point.

Remember, there are only two seemingly infinite resources in the universe: hydrogen, and stupidity, and America is one of the larger deposits of the latter.
