I like how people conveniently forget the demonization Trump did of Clinton before she said deplorable or whatever. Whatever fits the narrative I suppose.
It's some revisionist tier shit.
It's not revisionist, you're just failing to understand the difference between attacking an entire support base and attacking the person themselves. "hillary clinton is corrupt" vs "half of trump's supporters are deplorables"
-snip-
Less than a quarter of American voters - it was always half of Trump's supporters. Which translates to less than 10% of all Americans.
It was a shit quote, but pretending she literally meant exactly half of Trump's supporters are deplorable is dumb. There's a lot of cunts in Trump's supporter group, let's not pretend otherwise.
There's a lot of stupid shit trump says and it's not fair to just say "oh well trump didn't mean what he said" is it? Why in your mind does this fly for clinton.
A presidential canidate who outright dismisses even your conservative estimate of 10% of the population(this is 32 million people) shouldn't be president. You should be looking to win people over not play a stupid petty fucking game where both canidates shout back and fourth insults. Not that trump is innocent either in that respect, but consider what happens when both candidates are doing it and one is an unfunny plaster faced asshole who keeps trying to make "pokemon go to the polls" and the other is a morbily amusing orange tv show host who bants at a grade level toddlers can understand.
What? There's a marked difference between talking bad about your opponent in the presidential election and then calling half of American voters deplorable.
How is either better? My point was people who were entrenched within the politics of the recent elections already made up their mind long before her comments, as indefensible as they are. It's crazy if you don't believe that there was a push to vilify the other candidate on both ends since the very begining.
