I've never said that people who have the guts to actually change something dont exist. It's just that they're so damn rare and really have to be pushed by their governments to the point where they've simply had enough. And this is the exact reason why I think telling someone to get out there and make a revolution/overthrow governments is foolish, the people who are actually cut out be revolutionists know it themselves and actually do shit. But that does not mean ordinary people can't simply have discussions about how they dislike their government or simply vent out about it.
I'm well aware of the deeds the CRM did and I respect them plenty. But again, they fought against something far worse than the current situation in the US. They fought against real issues that were well present in their government and society in general, Im simply taking all of the things the CRM fought with and putting them into perspective to the current situation of the US. And no matter how you slice it, it has much improved since the 20th century.

Nowhere did that play any part in the argument we were having. If you weren't blind, you would have seen that I said, yes, this is legit and it's a shitty thing the government did. It actually happened and was covered up, this is not the conspiracy theory I was referring to.
