Glad you've gotten to a level of agreement on something. That's all I've discussed in this thread, if you wanna keep going back to old discussions then make a new thread about it and talk about it there. I'm here to talk about this topic, despite the little derailing onto my own personal ambitions.
Your argument was never simply that the government lies to their citizens. If this was your argument, no one would have any problem with you at all. But I suppose you think you're being wrongfully persecuted because you're a conspiracy nut, and a persecution complex tends to go along with that. You're an idiot with delusions of grandeur and paranoid tendencies. It is lucky for your own sake that you're also paralyzingly lazy; if I thought the world was as you seem to view it, I would be inspired to take up action. But no, for you, posting your rants on the Internet is action enough; even when you view the entire world as being controlled by malicious forces looking out for their own interests and actively trying to harm a majority of the populous.
You're the only person I was talking to. You think I don't know that? You're not as smart as you're ego let's on. I've never seen someone so flustered by the fact they don't have everyone agreeing with their opinions. Maybe you should take a relaxing walk, take a few deep breaths, and when you've caged your rage lion come back and actually debate with me over something that matters. Like the fact more soldiers die by suicide then in combat. Sometghing that matters instead of your trivial bullshit capslock ragefits.
See, that's the funny thing. I'm not flusttered when people disagree with me. I'm "flustered"(How about just frustrated?) when your only method of arguing is ad hominem, avoiding the point, not replying, and referring to biased sources. If my ego lets on anything, then jesus christ, yours tells a fucking epic tale of adventure.
Has he ever done anything else?
No but it's still surprising the audacity of not even acknowledging it.
I like how you're just totally ignoring my valid criticism and just acting like it doesn't exist now. No but it's still surprising the audacity of not even acknowledging it.
Which was?
Which was?
That you believe you're doing something important, and you're not, and if you truly believed what you did and felt that the government was so corrupt action was needed, you would try and make that action happen. You're deluding yourself into believing that posting on a british forum (for the 1000th time) is significant in any way. You're not forming a large upwelling of support here, you're just being derided in every topic you post. If you care, do something. Don't act like the nothing you're doing is something. I post about government abuses on here too, but I don't think i'm working for a cause or gathering support when I do.

But sadly, being the 18 year old I am, I'm limited to such things. If there are mailicious forces harming populations, you know I'm gonna make posts about it.

Like I said, contact your local politicians, do something to actually push your message out there. You're only limited by what you don't want to do.

Posting about it? you clearly are just like criticalthought and seem to believe there is a global fascist power controlling us and pulling the strings. Posting about that sure is helpful, or even useful in proving their existence, right? Frankly, you're so politically uneducated I'm glad you don't exercise your voters rights, that you don't know what you can go out and do, i wish more uneducated people would stay home more often.
Its sad and ironic you'd make the claim that i am uneducated. The majority of the people from my generation know politics as far as red and blue. I've actually made it a goal of mine to stay up to date on the political word that controls (or atleast tries to) every aspect of my life.

I'm not talking about your generation, i'm talking about in general. You may know enough to differentiate sides, but you still believe that there's a "new world order" or something like that. That's not educated. I believe that shit too when I was 18, I think Loose Change was coming out around that time and it certainly made me think that there was a NWO or something. Then, I realized how fucking stupid it was.
Here's what I believe and would like to discuss: americas shift to fascist tendencies. Whatever other conspiracies you wanna argue is nill compared to that simple thing. If, hypothetically mind you, America became fascist... that would top all of the conspiracy theories ever considered. But by then it would be far too late for us to do things to stop it. Therefore, this topic of discussion should be taken seriously. That's not asking you to take loose change into consideration. Just the idea that america is not the land of the free any longer.
This is a new era, with new technology. Posting fliers won't do anymore. To maximize the spread of knowledge in this day and age one must use the internet. That's what I do here, on facepunch.
lol im sorry but this was just hilarious no offense but you sound like another computer chair revolutionary, one of those people who claim to feel so strongly about their views yet the only thing you seem to be doing is posting on an anonymous video game message board to a bunch of random 16 year olds Im sorry to inform you that what youre doing here, on facepunch, to "spread the knowledge" has no effect and is totally useless to the real world and completely insignificant. Go out and run for office if you want to start making some change in politics, not posting to a internet message board where probably 70% of the members are not even of age to vote or don't even live in the USA. keep in mind this isn't a flame post but more of a suggestion
It is ironic but that's besides the point. Point being is that this country is supposedly the "land of the free, home of the brave". No, more like "land of the cheats, home of the cowards". These politicians are so scared to tell what is actually going on so I can have a decent understanding of the situation of how bad this war is. Nope, they decide to blatantly lie to their taxpayers about this shit. Plus I watch George Carlin. May he rest in peace because he gave me this opinion about this country and he allowed many to (hopefully) see how bad it is here with the corrupt political system. I might be voicing my opinion, feel free to go against it. I ain't changing.
If you're going to move to Europe, go to England.
Here's what I believe and would like to discuss: americas shift to fascist tendencies. .
Document this shift, with either thoughtful original interpertation of legitimate primary sources, or with well respected sources for secondary interpertations of primary sources. No bullshit conspiracy websites, no citing schitzophrenics' websites. I know this is like your Everest, but please at least try.
Hi, I'm Warhol (notice I was polite enough to capitalize your name), and I'm here to troll someone for daring to have a different viewpoint. I honestly don't see the point in covering up the bombing and the resulting violence.
I need the link to that article so I can make fun of you further, can you post it? [editline]29th October 2010[/editline]
I'm referring to what has been said In this thread. The government has been deceitful, wikileaks proves that. The number of civilians dead number up to a million or more now. That's not including the soldiers who commit suicide each year upon returning from the states. All because of our government lying to us, over and over. All. Facts.
uh, what part of this post is wrong?
uh, what part of this post is wrong?
The war only killed from 80-113K extra civilians directly or secondarily, the high (~1.3x10^6) number is total excess deaths caused by anything the war may have caused. (Infrastructure degradation, lawlessness, &c). To be fair that post was one of ShukaidoX's most reasonable.
100k or 6, it's still too high.
Oh wow lol, I didn't think facepunch is filled with users who actually cares about this kinda of stuff :P Guess its not just me then :D
The more people who start caring about stuff like this the sooner we the people can get our liberties back.
The more people who start caring about stuff like this the sooner we the people can get our liberties back.
So What liberties are you missing?
So What liberties are you missing?
how do i patriot act
