Poland cannot into space =[
they accidently it
Russia.
I will make moon base alpha, obviously.
The moon isn't important anymore. Spend money on ocean exploration instead of short term impact, and for long term plan to do crazy cool shit like fly around to Mars.
The plan is to fly to mars. The WHOLE reason we want to go to the moon is because... you got it! The moon has less gravity than Earth. And, with the discovery of water on the moon, we have... you got it! Hydrogen to use as fuel. So, with fuel, and a lot less gravity, we need a lot less fuel to get fast enough to escape the moon's gravity and fly to mars.

"all but dropped out".....wouldn't that be the same as saying "everything except dropped out"? As in they didn't? But they did.
It means they've pretty much ruled out going to space but they've left a sort of "foot in the door" so they can spring back into the party whenever they want to.

But to get back on topic, Space will probably go more towards private companies. Like Virgin Galactic and that other one.
Driving his daughter to school? How sweet of him.

Visiting moon isn't important. Having a self-sufficient base on moon would be very very useful.
Aliens on moonbase alpha
I actually hope the Russians manage to get someone on the moon, or beat everyone else to Mars.
humans on alienbase beta
Personally, I think it should be an international effort: people from many different countries collaborating together to start an IMB (International MoonBase), just like what was done with the good ol' ISS.

Oh, no, other countries can still go to the moon. As long as they pay rent.

This is incorrect. Since the moon has 1/6 the gravity of Earth, making a base and launching rockets off of it would reduce launch costs tremendously, and would allow us to make rockets with enough fuel to ge to mars much easier. Also with water on the Moon, the hydrogen can be used to make fuel.

Of course, you're still going to have to ship all the parts up to the moon, and either build a shitload of robots or find a way of getting people to live on the moon.
But I'm sure you'd only be spending a little bit more than if you just launched the fuckers from Earth.
In the short term. Going with long term, I just can't see the repair costs and costs of shipping shit back and forth to the moon to ever be practical.

Fixed!
Who wants to go into space? It's just vast nothingness of infinite nothing.

Meaning "They pretty much have, but not officialy."
Who wants to go into space? It's just vast nothingness of infinite nothing.
Is Earth nothing? Earth is in space too.
And we will need raw materials in space future too. Mostly because they will run out in Earth.
Future lays in space. But that is future, right now there is little reason to go there when you think it hard enough.

That's why the places where something exists, suns, solar-systems,galaxies, clouds and clusters are so precious.
If the U.S. won’t be going to the moon again anytime soon, who is?
China.
China.
The Netherlands, obviously. We kept a low profile but secretly constructed a rocket from excess cheese and prostitutes, no-one will see it coming.

We have enough materials to sustain a population of about 500,000,000 for 100,000 years. However, people keep on over-populating so we will run out in about 100. I don't think we'll have the technology by then to operate intergalactic mining operations by then.
No we'll robably best the shit out of each other until the problem solves itself one way or another.
A society that relies on constant expasion is just not working.

A good war would easily cull the worlds population.
I suggest China versus The World.

No, wait.

I suggest no war at all and learning from history.
The times of "superpower vs superpower" wars are over. These days wars are either guerillia or representative wars.

They why is the USA still invading the rest of the world?

I think that question is not up to me to answer, they can't even answer it properly themselves.
But it's probably not because they like killing people.
Europe will colonize space!
