What makes the sky out there so bright?
Sun messing with the optics. Tomorrow at sunset go take a picture of the sun and see how it comes out.
the sun
I should have seen that one coming.
That hill looks more like the result of a fisheye lense than an actual hill.

Can't believe all that shit worked
Oh man I could hardly sleep tonight, glad to know everything went fine.
It's a huge day for the American people? Fuck you; this is a feat of humanity.
Come on Europe got the Higgs boson America can have the mars rover and the moon landing.

Couldn't watch it because of timezones, is there a video of the touchdown or anything?

I also didn't have the energy to stay up to watch this, I'm pumped to learn it landed though!
Now it's on to find water.
I was not informed about it even lauching.

NASA Houston control always has the best freakouts.
NASA Houston control always has the best freakouts.
Understandable though.

A beautiful sight. Watched it with needlessly overdramatic music playing in the background myself. Feelsgoodman.

Watched it live at about 1 AM, congrats to NASA.
Aw shit, I thought it was going to land tonight. Oh well, youtube, away!
I think what's sad is that, on the websites I'm looking at (abc, nbc, comcast, etc), this story is relegated to the internet equivalent of "Page 3" rather than being the headline of the day. :(
