Jeb Bush on his foreign policy vs. his brother's: "I am my own man"
Jeb Bush revealed his strategy for dealing with the polarizing foreign policy legacy of his brother: Make a quick declaration of independence then pivot to a searing attack on the failings abroad of President Barack Obama.
"I love my father and my brother. I admire their service to the nation and the difficult decisions they had to make," Bush said Wednesday in Chicago during the first major foreign policy speech of his prospective Republican presidential campaign. "But I am my own man."
Well I mean we shouldn't judge him based on the actions of his brother, George Bush, and dad, Barbara Bush.
Apples generally don't far from the tree. So, I can imagine what a failure of a presidency this could be.
There will never be another Bush in the White House, I think we all learned our lesson

I use to think so but then their was a thread a few months back full of George Bush apologists
The last thing this country needs is a third Bush in the White House. The presidency isn't and shouldn't be a family legacy. We don't need two Clintons and three Bushes. We need new leaders with new ideas.
"I am my own man, I am, Iron Man."

Bush I was pretty good though. I really don't want to see dynasties in the White House, but if it's Bush III vs. Clinton II, I'd go for Bush III because I honestly think he'd do a better job than Clinton II as information currently stands.

What has Bush III done that appeals better to you then Clinton II? Admittedly I don't know much of whatever Hillary has achieved but I don't know any of Jeb's either.

He grew a penis.
No idea what any of his opinions or stances are, but I do remember when I was younger we had a class field trip to Tallahassee (capital of Florida, we're a Florida school), and we were promised we'd get to meet the governor (Jeb Bush at the time). When we got there he refused to come out and see our class. Because of this, my family has an insane hatred for the man who wouldn't pop out for a few minutes to say "Hi" to a bunch of fourth graders.

Did it ever occur to him that he could have been busy? :v:

Barbara Bush, our nation's first female president.

If it came down to Bush V Clinton, I'd go for Hillary even though I dislike her and question her ability to govern based on her position in the game in Washington. Giving the GOP the power of the executive branch when all they've done for the last 6 years has been to throw a fit would be retarded. A fit which led to our nation's credit rating being downgraded, I might add. As far as I'm concerned the party needs to die and the system needs to be overhauled.

Actually that's credited to Woodrow Wilson's wife, who virtually ran the presidency when her husband had a stroke in office.

Or in the case of the Paul family, coconuts.
How about you people actually listen to what the man has to say instead of saying "guilt by assocation!!"

What? Barbara is a man. The US has never had a female president

Don't forget Prescott!

She has a name, you know. Edith Wilson.
Political Dynasties are disturbing quite the possibility of a Trudeau in Canada, then a Bush or Clinton in the USA in the next few years.

Doesn't help David Cameron is descended from King William IV.

To borrow the headline from a Guardian article:
Jeb Bush isn't George W. He just thinks the same and hires the same people
