It's an interdimensional gate being torn through the realm of existence.

Kind of reminds me of OP's avatar, you know that.

It's a rocket.
Ugh, I left out a "not" in my other post in the locked thread... @JohnnyMo1: Of course, I meant to say, I don't know why you're saying it's not Aurora Borealis. And Aurora Borealis DOES appear in Norway (and even Sweden and Finland), Russia, Canada and Alaska. That's just a plain fact.
This is failed 13th test launch of our rocket system "Bulava". Info is official from russian goverment.
this is obviously an attempt to access the immaterium
This is failed 13th test launch of our rocket system "Bulava". Info is official from russian goverment.
I didn't believe that until I got confirmation. All hail the BBC. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/europe/8405481.stm That has to be one of the more spectacular launch failures I have ever seen.
Aliens are sending their first signs to humanity that we're not alone. [editline]03:39PM[/editline]
I didn't believe that until I got confirmation. All hail the BBC. For everyone saying the image looks shopped: The shutter was open for a pretty long time.
Its the afterburner of an extremely fast jet. :downs:
I agree, the image looks photoshopped. The light in the image just doesn't look natural with the dark setting around it. If it really was that bright, the rest of the sky I would image would be slightly brighter.

Yeah, I hate people who take pictures with slow shutter speeds. You can explain it to the average person all day but they'll still be "DUUUUURRRRRRR" and think what they see in that photo is what everyone saw in the sky.
Not everyone knows about photography. I wouldn't know the difference between normal shutter speed and slow shutter speed if someone asked me to point it out.

This is a Low shutter speed the shutter as been open for a very short amount of time to see a fraction of the image. Oh and if anyone is wondering these photos are raw they have had no editing don't to them minus the "ben cc" thing
Fucking aliens. I'M TRYING TO FUCKING SLEEP! PISS OF AND COME BACK IN THE DAYTIME!
So... Beautiful...
Hey guys, check out this fluid simulation of an out-of-control rocket: hmm
That's just swamp gas silly.
This exact same thing happened in Russia:
God I love Halo's soundtrack.
It's all like "BLOOP I'M A PURDY SPIRALLY THING-A-MABOB LOOKET MEH!!"
Why was it talking to me?
