Luke has a son, Han and Leia have twins (all three become Jedi, but one of the twins becomes corrupted into being Sith) I remember reading about it years ago in some continuation universe on the wiki

Fuck the original cast, why does it have to be about them and their offspring? I don't want a throwback, I want something new and awesome that stands separate from the other movies. They are just doing it get more money because they are afraid of alienating the dumb masses because they think people won't watch it if it doesn't remind them of the previous movies.

I haven't read much Star Wars EU but I end up hating most of it. I liked Republic Commando though.

TO be fair, I can't blame them for wanting to forget half the shit that happens in the EU. Pretty much everything after the New Republic starts getting retarded as hell. After the Yuuzhan Vong its just shitting into a book at that point.
