• Them's fighting words - Ford sends Chevy cease-and-desist letter over apocalypse ad

They should have been using those Nokia phones to communicate.
I dunno... My dad has a Chevy for a work truck, dunno what model but it's large and runs on diesel with several toolboxes attached to the back. His day-to-day truck is a Ford F-150 Heritage edition, the red and black one. One day while driving his work truck home to pick up some tools, he hit an orange barrel that had blown onto the road infront of him suddenly because of a really strong gust. The part of the front of the truck that got hit by the barrel crumpled up like fucking candy wrapper. A few months before that while driving us all home from a camping trip in the F-150, he started to drift asleep behind the wheel and OBLITERATED another orange barrel, of the same exact type. The barrel was extremely fucked up. Truck? Not a fucking scratch. Now what does that say about quality differences? I grew up in a Ford family though, and I am a bit biased, but real evidence of two similar accidents with different outcomes is not deniable. About the ad though, stabs at other companies dealing with vehicles are just business. So I will agree that Ford is just kinda being fussy, here.
If Chevy has to apologize for this, it's only fair Ford apologizes for ruining the old "like a rock" ad campaign with their "sinks like one too" commercial.
Why? There is literally no advantage to using them over a fork.
i eat with a fork everyday, once in a while chopsticks are good.
I love this kind of auto ads, except the one in the OP is a jab at a specific company, instead of rest of the competition. No thanks, Chevy, I'll take the Toyota.
To be fair, I snickered at the "Longest-lasting most dependable truck" comment. I guess assuming chopsticks are a pain in the ass compared to forks would be fine but getting half the joke isn't any fun.
Why? There is literally no advantage to using them over a fork.
I grew up using chopsticks. it reminds me of home.
