The first one, yes. This DLC is for the second game.
I know, but I rather try a game before invested money into its DLC filled sequel.

PD2 has a demo, albeit a bit outdated in terms of features. PD1 plays similarly but is unique to itself, there will be many differences from one to another. All of the PD2 DLC are optional and are 5 dollars as well, but we won't go there. There is also tons of gameplay videos.
Honestly you don't really need to by any more dlc then the Gage Courier Mod pack, and that's only to up the amount of mods you get so it's not even that bad. The only other DLC I'd recommend is probably the big bank one.
I'd recommend the Sniper pack too, snipers are just too useful
Payday 2 was shaky for a long time, but it's really worth playing now I think.
I just wish the overly grindy aspect would go away. The beta testing build apparently has a much faster money gain than the current release so there's hope for that.
I can't stand playing the game anymore because it's just too much grinding. Want a cool mask ? Too bad sucker, you gotta play the same mission fifty times to get the right mask, pattern and material on the right cards then fifty more games to get the obnoxiously massive amounts of money required to create even one mask. Don't forget to crap out 150k bucks for a single scope addition to your rifle.
Feels like a free to play game.

A bit out of the loop there, the beta ended and the changes are live, while some missions still pay better than others (and that is totally fair, the investment put into firestarter is more than mallcrashers), they are all now very viable and it feels like you can make good progress doing any number of missions.
Drops have not been changed sadly.

lol what
If you are going to go as far and say that PD2 feels F2P (it's honestly closer to P2W but only in the context of what you are talking about) then you can just install one of the trainers that gives you all of the money and attachments.
And as doommarine said payoffs and XP has been increased noticably for pretty much all of the heists.
Grinding is a thing of the past and doesn't feel like much of an aspect of the game anymore. Now you have to learn the wonky stealth mechanics and pray to RNGesus :v:
Not that much when you consider the fact that Borderlands 2 has breached $100 now. As long as the content's good, I'll buy it. My rule of thumb is I'll pay $1 for every hour I think I'll get out of the game, and I only buy games I like so I end up playing them for at least 200 hours anyway.
Gearbox's strategy with borderlands 2 of putting up major, usually well made DLC for a notable price and some minor cosmetics bullshit for like one dollar a pack on the side is a good way to do it, especially since you can now get all the major DLC for 45 bucks with the GOTY edition.
What is however complete horseshit is the pre-sequel being sold at that same price. It's a glorified stand alone DLC being sold full price.
Nobody's posted the trailer yet? Weird.

It says the video is private, anyone else have the trailer?
Can you still do all the Payday 2 DLC without buying it by teaming up with someone who does own it? I never got to play much Payday 2 because it makes my PC cry but I always thought that was a great feature.

You don't even need to do that. All you need is one lua script to unlock all DLC, unless that's been patched now.

They reuploaded it to add the rating

If it's going to have more than enough content to be called Borderlands 3, then why is it not called Borderlands 3?
The best part about Pre-Sequel is that Burch won't be writing it. What I know, and I haven't followed the development closely, is that it's going to be set in a smaller world but with more variety in content. $60 is a little bit overkill, but would $10 make a difference? I know that it's not an excuse, but you could literally sell enough trading cards or in-game items to cover the difference.
I've bought Borderlands 1 GOTY on a sale and got 60 or so hours out of it. I bought Borderlands 2 GOTY on a sale and got 20 out of it already, and I have barely scratched the surface. I'll probably get Pre-Sequel GOTY on a sale a couple of years later, and get my money's worth. Patience is rewarding.
Damnit, to play this I'm going to need (my) PAYDAY 2.
Damn, I would totally buy Payday 2 just for this, but I held off buying it at the Summer Sale when it was REALLY cheap because I heard it had a lot of issues did it/does it still have any?
If youre still on the fence about buying it i got a 50% off coupon, pm me bro
