Why would you limit how much someone can buy? If it's a legal substance then there's no reason to limit it whatsoever.
Yup there's no good reason at all to limit the amount you could buy at once.
That's what people told me about salvia, I'm just amazed that school, law enforcement officials, acutal drug users, and people from this very forum would all misinform me, and with the same misinformation, no less.
Why would you limit how much someone can buy? If it's a legal substance then there's no reason to limit it whatsoever.
Overdosing, crime, etc
Overdosing
This is marijuana, so no overdosing (Even us non-smokers should know this by now). Once it is legalized what crime? I mean you can drive drunk but they will still sell you a keg.
Overdosing, crime, etc
impossible to overdose (although trying is pretty fun), get some facts before you spout "crime", etc.
people shouldn't have to pay a 25% markup for any product because of the government.
you're paying a lot more than a 25% markup on cigarettes, what's different to other smoking products.
you're paying a lot more than a 25% markup on cigarettes, what's different to other smoking products.
the reason cigs are taxed so much is because of the health costs associated with them. people smoke cigarettes and go to the hospital - people smoke pot and go to the fridge.
i think you're fucking retarded if you believe weed doesn't do you any harm but there you go. smoke weed like you smoke cigs and you'll develop the same symptoms as a smoker.
Oh wow, a big circle jerk over weed in a facepunch thread. What a total and utter surprise this is. [editline]20th August 2012[/editline] Not to mention the wide range of differing viewpoints unbiasedly debated.
Overdosing, crime, etc
Confirmed for retard, I'm sorry you couldn't do your folks proud.
smoke weed like you smoke cigs and you'll develop the same symptoms as a smoker.
you mean like lung cancer? or mouth cancer? or any cancer at all? or smaller lung capacity? seriously, find me one medical case where a person is in a hospital with failing/worsened organs solely because that person smoked a lot of pot.
You are less likely to get lung cancer smoking marijuana than cigarettes but there is still a small increase in your chance of cancer. I wrote a paper on medical marijuana last year, I can provide this study in anyone wants to read through it.
i think you're fucking retarded if you believe weed doesn't do you any harm but there you go. smoke weed like you smoke cigs and you'll develop the same symptoms as a smoker.
The thing is that no one really smokes pot like they smoke cigs. Some people smoke a couple joints, but many smokers smoke upwards of 10-20 cigarettes a day. This is one of the reasons it is incredibly hard to tell potential lung damage caused by smoking marijuana. Also, there is evidence to show that lung tumors shrink due to THC consumption. So while the smoke may not be good for the lungs and help exacerbate asthma or spur light coughing, you could also be at a significantly reduced risk for lung cancer. This isn't taking into account that you can consume marijuana orally and as vapor, both of which eliminate potential lung damage.
I don't know why but this sounds like the plot to some stoner comedy "Two pothead friends try to travel cross country to attend a pro-weed rally, but some hilarious hi-jinks stall their endeavors. Will they make it in time, or will their plot go 'up in flames'?"
