I like Google and all the services it offers... but this issue of privacy and anonymity will be the end of the corporation one day. I think I'll start moving the services I use on the internet a little bit away from Google where I can.

The problem is, they're looking at Anonymity from the perspective of what YOU can do by being anonymous, rather than what Millions and Millions of people can do TO YOU when you can't remain anonymous

Let's just hope the CEO gets hit with some sorta scandal that forces him either to back down or go to jail. What kind of scandal do you think would be suitable retribution for the threat his interests pose against our internet ideals? Simply an extramarital affair wouldn't work, those are too common and all that. Framing him for tax evasion might work, although he's probably rich enough to pay all that off. Anyone got any other ideas what kind of scandal would send him whirling to ruin?
