The history of my people is not taught further than to around 60 thousands years ago. That was when the tribe from over the big water came and clubbed the chief and we dont really want to talk about it.
That's pretty stupid, I mean if Belgian history classes had to stop when we got our asses kicked we'd stop around the point Julius Caesar & co rolled up
Yeah, but America never loses. Never
US History II classes rarely make it past the Korean War because they don't want to talk about losing Vietnam, which means no Civil Rights classes.
Even In Ireland we did American history all the way up to the end of the cold war, we learnt about the Civil rights marches, the moon landing, Korea and Vietnam.
Yeah, but America never loses. Never
except all those times it did.
except all those times it did.
Was just a flesh wound, if you ask a generic high school history teacher.

We didn't say that we lost nor that we won only that it was pretty much a pointless war.
I thought that was covered in American education all over the country? To add to what asteroidrules said for whoever else doesn't know, just think of the opposite of Martin Luther King Jr. Also, It's a shame murders like this in many parts of Mexico continue to become the norm.
he reformed his views after going to mecca and left the black panthers

So I'm not too surprised that this person doesn't know who he is.
my english teacher covered him(why i have no idea) by saying that he was like mlk jr. except he used violence and then mlk jr. made him stop using as much violence so malcom x became more of a good guy. fuck i hate american education sometimes.
He was fairly radical for a while, saying stuff like black people should be able to fight back if their only option is violence, and that the white man put them in this awful position. However, near the end of his life, he went to Mecca or some shit and saw people of all different races all praying together, and kind of had some kinda crazy revelation and became way less radical, and began to think that white people and black people could live together. He even criticized the leader of the black muslims, Elijah Muhammed, which unfortunately lead to his death because a radical black Muslim shot him dead when he was in his house with his wife and kids. [editline]13th May 2013[/editline] basically anyone who says malcom x was "the opposite of mlk" or "was a muslim that advocated violence" needs to read some more books
"saying stuff like" "he went to Mecca or some shit" "crazy revelation" you have such an amazing way with words

Because personally, I think your post is a waste of time. Also everything (other than the few minor details) he said is correct, albeit very simplified.
