Hate to burst your bubble along with your hive minded ilk, that's not happening any time soon.
Some of the same people who argue against oil, argue against leaving the EU on the grounds that without free trade it's not possible to survive economically but without oil it's not very easy to continue trading with other countries unless they all of a sudden have fleets of electric powered transport capable of crossing oceans and travelling large distances, quickly. You can't have it all ways.
but thats the thing, it feels like we're not even attempting to find new ways :(
Tesla is about to release an affordable electric vehicle for the common consumer and most car manufacturers now have at least one electric and or hybrid option. We didn't have these options 10 years ago.
Hate to burst your bubble along with your hive minded ilk, that's not happening any time soon.
And how's that a good thing?
Some of the same people who argue against oil, argue against leaving the EU on the grounds that without free trade it's not possible to survive economically but without oil it's not very easy to continue trading with other countries unless they all of a sudden have fleets of electric powered transport capable of crossing oceans and travelling large distances, quickly.
