Also this is dumb, the ruling was fine. If councillors want to pray they should be able to do it but not as a formal part of a council meeting.

Its because we accept and acknowledge that there is a state religion and that we don't have separation of the church and state.

Parliament is sovereign so they can generally do what they want.

They have to do it with a law, so its not like he is just saying that the court is wrong.
