I don't buy it. The pins on fragmentation grenades are difficult to remove for safety reasons. The hollywood pull the pin out of a grenade with your teeth deal is way overblown. Daisy chaining a string to them would make it extremely difficult to take the soda, much less pull the pins on the grenades. Furthermore once you pull the pin on a grenade, the spoon will eject and start the fuse. This makes a sound that any soldier is going to INSTANTLY recognize. Now add this to the fact that grenades have a four or five second fuse at least, and that is a substantial amount of time to clear the blast zone. As even a vest of grenades doesn't actually have the ability to do a lot of damage to anything not biological in nature. And finally shooting friendly soldiers, even badly wounded ones, is most certainly not kosher and is never something a soldier would admit to. My conclusion: Hi Linelor!
I am not sure exactly how it went down. I was a little while away in a different patrol. We were ordered to return to base because our humvee was medically equipped, because some other guys were hurt as well. I didn't even know who it was until they were dragging him out on a stretcher. I managed to get in when they were trying to sedate him, but we knew that he was too far gone by now to save him. So the doc gave him "something" to help ease the pain, I can't remember what he said because I was too far in shock. And after a little bit, they gave him enough so that he could die peacefully. As for the grenades, I remember them telling me that there wasn't enough gunpowder in them to have done the damage an normal grenade was, so apparently it was one of those shitty hand-made grenades, we seized alot of them, so the pin was alot less tighter than an m67 or something. And I'm assuming he didn't hear the spoon eject because there were helicopters flying overhead around the time we received the command. It was so loud to the point we didn't even hear the blast. This isn't something that someone lies about, its too much. Its not like I kicked down a door and took about 17 Al Qaeda kung fu masters with my bare hands. I don't know even why I posted this on FP. I don't even talk about with people I know.

But there were choppers overhead so no one knew.
well, i appreciate your service (if you are actually in the military), but once you begin to use that kind anecdotal evidence in a discussion people are going to want proof of your service hell, you could just log on to your AKO and screenshot your profile (with rank/MOS) and block out all the important info or you could just not give a shit, either way doesn't matter to me - i'm just sayin'
The way the US plays, though, is that you need approval from Congress before any assassination attempt. The one exception was Isoroku Yamamoto, because they didn't have enough time between learning his whereabouts and setting off on the mission.

I could give a shit if a bunch of teenagers don't believe me.
Fake.
Your fake see how easy that is?
Your fake see how easy that is?
If you really don't care whether we believe you or not, you wouldn't be replying to comments like that. Seriously, either show us some kind of proof, or just forget about it. You said it yourself, it's just a bunch of angsty teens on some forum. Its not that big of deal.
Your fake see how easy that is?
A soldier would have good spelling. Yore dumb
A soldier would have good spelling. Yore dumb
This isn't a military report he has to type out. Good grammar and spelling are in no way any proof or disproof of his claim.
A soldier would have good spelling. Yore dumb
dude, excuse me if I don't spellcheck my posts. I'm posting on here while watching a movie and eating food.
Israel has assassinated the crap out of the opposing side's leadership for decades now...what has it got them? It's like playing whack a mole, another one just pops up. Terrorism is the symptom of a wider problem, not the cause. Eliminate the cause and the symptoms go away. It's easier to kill random people though, so that's what eveyone does.
