Toonami's for anime. If there was ever a TF2 show, it would be animated with Valve's tech, and not be cartoon.

Eh, I don't think that's really a problem. If it's a show it'd be easy to have the characters gradually evolve while still keeping their key traits.

Do you think Adult Swim might want to license the Source Film Maker for potential use in upcoming shows? It seems like it would be a good toolset/environment to use for fast cheap production.

I think that the surprise may actually be an adult swim game on steam. Seeing as there are so many popular Adult Swim flash games, this doesn't really come as a surprise.

Once SFM is out of closed beta, anyone can use it for anything they want, even make movies for money, as long as you don't use source game materials.

Maybe AS is in the beta as well, helping out Valve iron out issues and proposing ideas a proper studio would want from something like that.
