What happened to Monsters Inc 2?
They're making a prequel in 2013. Though it's called "Monsters University".
nemo for the love of god do i need to buy a leash
I think the sequel should focus on Nemo's dad locked in a fish tank with another fish and the only way Nemo can see his son alive again is if he cuts off his own fin with a saw. It can be a combination of Finding Nemo and the first Saw.
I don't know about anyone else, but I want to see more of those little animation shorts that Pixar made for certain films. Kind of like this one:
Noooo Finding Nemo ended perfectly with a little bow on the top.. WHO THE FUCK IS THE UNDERMINER Incredibles is one of my all time favorites now god DAMN, I need to see a real sequel for a movie that needs one
How bout something along the lines of Taken. Nemo travels to the Keys with his friends when they're all kidnapped by Hermit Crabs and are thrown into a bait trafficking ring. Marlin must now track down and fight off the criminal crabs in a matter of days in order to successfully rescue his son and I guess his friends too to make it an happy ending.
Why not a sequel to the Incredibles? We have a rough idea on what the baby's powers is and theres so much potential it being a world where superheroes and supervillains are something common(Hell they could just make a TV show about it)
omg pixar tv show pls
omg pixar tv show pls
That happened with Madagascar and Kung Fu Panda. I must say they both look horrible as a tv show. Also, what if Nemo heards that his mother is still alive?
What, visually? That's because rendering of that kind has more or less reached its technological pinnacle. The pixar render farm is so huge and complex that adding more machines- which is impossible due to space and cooling- would only speed up the process.
Take old machines out, put new machines in wow it's almost as if no one had thought of a way to modernise hardware.
I love Pixar, and I loved Finding Nemo, it's definitely one of my favorites of theirs, but they really need to not let Disney twist their arm into such a marketing focus, but that's too late I guess. It was inevitable, oh well.
Also, what if Nemo heards that his mother is still alive?
that'd be a hilariously awful plot twist
That happened with Madagascar and Kung Fu Panda. I must say they both look horrible as a tv show. Also, what if Nemo heards that his mother is still alive?
If Nemos mother is still alive then the entire sad mood of the first movie is ruined and replaced with 'BUT NEMO, SHES ACULY ALIVE LOL, DUN DUN DUHHHHHHH' Its one of the worst possible directions that this could actually go. Imagine if there was a Bambi 2 where the mom came back, way to ruin the moment of the first movie.
That happened with Madagascar and Kung Fu Panda. I must say they both look horrible as a tv show.
What are you talking about? The Madagascar's Penguins spinoff series is the best thing ever
Seriously what the hell is going on with Pixar? Is Disney causing all of this?
of course. disney is responsible for literally all of the sequels they've done thus far. provided, toy story 2 and 3 were sort of planned out from the beginning, at least that's the story they like to tell [editline]18th July 2012[/editline]
What are you talking about? The Madagascar's Penguins spinoff series is the best thing ever
i think he's speaking for their visuals, in which case he's right as they all look like sam and max cutscenes
Is it like 'The Hangover' but they are all fish
If Nemos mother is still alive then the entire sad mood of the first movie is ruined and replaced with 'BUT NEMO, SHES ACULY ALIVE LOL, DUN DUN DUHHHHHHH'
"OH AND SHE ALSO MANAGED TO SAVE THE OTHER EGGS. MEET NEMO 1, NEMO 2, NEMO 3, NEMO 4, NEMO 5, NEMO 6, NEMO 7..."
i think he's speaking for their visuals, in which case he's right as they all look like sam and max cutscenes
In that case he's right, the "graphics" of the series are just OK, in the movies you could even see the whiskers of the lemurs; but since I assumed it's a common practice for fully-CGI TV shows I just ignored that part :v:
pfft , already seen it, Nemo gets lost and then they find him. The End.
Welp, with the averageness of Brave, I guess Pixar's last good movie will be Toy Story 3. [editline]18th July 2012[/editline] I blame Disney of course.
The Incredibles 2 would be so amazing it's not funny.
with all these superhero movies coming out, the incredibles 2 would be a great idea if it's released after this phase, they'll get blamed for being "late to the party", so why not ride along already?
And then it turns out the finding nemo 2 is about Nemo growing up and trying to find his place in life, so the movie turns into a pseudophilosophical romantic comedy about nemo discovering he's gay and having a secret goofy relationship with another fish interpreted by Will Smith
I'm hoping its a gritty reboot of the original.
Shut up, y'all don't even know what the plot is. It could be how like Taken did with their sequal. Instead of the daughter getting kidnapped in Taken 2 (coming a couple months) it's the mother. It may be the same with Finding Nemo, where maybe the dad would get lost this time.

Nemo got lost and he most likely has learned his lesson and would never EVER get into that type of trouble he got into in the first movie, what else could be done for a second story?
the problem isnt the story, the problem is that this movie is completely unnecessary, and it makes no sense to make it

The only Pixar movie that I really think is worth getting a sequel nowadays is The Incredibles.
Wait, Taken is getting a sequel? I loved that movie, it didn't need a fucking sequel
As with a lot of other movies.
This seems a little bit like the Taken sequel, especially if the dad gets "lost" this time
