Granted what everyone is saying about that being irresponsible that was pretty badass imo
I don't see what the big deal is here, people drive this fast on motorcycles all the time in Miami and no one gives a shit.
Some people just enjoy the rush you get from doing things like this, I wouldn't necessarily call them stupid for it. His burst at 1:22 and on was killer.
yeah no it's called sky diving and all that for a reason if you want a rush you can do something less obviously stupid.
Slow your roll, highway patrol. He didn't kill anybody.
Your posts back in the thread about that kid texting while driving was ok but... Now I think you're completely dumb. Please, never get in the drivers seat of a car, or use a gun. It's ok to do that because no one got hurt? Yeah, no. Infact, how about you just stay inside at all times?
"Endangering others is fine if no one dies" -FreakyMe, 2012
I was high - forgive me.
I was high - forgive me.
ok I still love you
Who gives a shit...he splatters himself across someones bumper its his problem

Yeah, a 400 pound bike traveling almost 200 miles an hour is definitely not the problem of anyone else on the road!
And one WolframAlpha later: At that speed he could hit with the force of a car.
I was high - forgive me.
what a terrible way to backpedal honestly, what I said was dumb but I didn't cover it with excuses
Man, if he wiped out.....
They'd be hosing bits of him off the highway for a hundred meters.
Stupid and irresponsible, but fun to watch. Come on, it was. :v:
How does he even ride the motorcycle with balls that big
Right? I would be like "SHITSHITSHIT..." the whole time [editline]19th April 2012[/editline]
I was high - forgive me.
Don't pui outside DD dude, haha
Perspective for those in the US that don't feel like converting it, thats 186MPH.
that is rather fast
Slow your roll, highway patrol. He didn't kill anybody.
I equate driving on the highway to shooting a gun at a range. If everyone's following all the rules of traffic, it's like everybody's shooting in the same direction. If someone's driving the wrong way, it's like they're in front of you, shooting at a target next to you. If you're on a bike going triple the speed limit and weaving in and out of traffic, it's like somebody is behind you, shooting a machine gun between you and the next guy over, at a target in front of you. Sure, you can do that and not hurt anyone - but sneeze too hard and somebody dies.
"too thick" That's thick traffic to you? Fuck, man. Where I live traffic like that is light if non-existent.
To thick for a full sized vehicle attempting to go 299km/h.
And one WolframAlpha later: At that speed he could hit with the force of a car.
That is only true if he hit something stationary. You'd have to subtract the speed of the other cars first so its more like he'll hit at (300 - 120) = 180 kmph (111 mph) which is still absurdly fast.
"Tomorrow his breakfast will taste better than any meal you or I have ever tasted."
if he's looking for thrills he should sell his bike and buy one of those flying squirrel suits people jump off mountains with
I can understand wanting to go fast and all that, but do it somewhere with out cars, when you're splitting cars at 299 km/h you deserve whatever happens to you.
So that suddenly makes what he did not stupid? Playing Russian roulette is fucking stupid, even if you don't lose.
unless you won a large amount of money!
I heard about this on the radio this morning. I had to take my mum to get a blood draw, so I just listened to the radio rather than my music CD. We always listen to 100.3 "The Q" (I believe that's the frequency), which is a classic rock station broadcasted from Victoria (we get it because we're just across the Strait from Victoria). The announcer said something like this. Not exactly word for word: "I'd like to take a moment to posit a scenario to our listeners. Imagine you and a friend are walking downtown, and your friend has a gun with him. Now imagine you tell your friend that, every time you take a step, he should close his eyes, spin around, and randomly fire off a round. Step. Bang. Step. Bang. Every step is a dance with death. Behavior like that would be absolutely unacceptable in our modern society, wouldn't it? So, how, exactly, is just such a thing different from driving a motorcycle 299 kilometers an hour down the <insert highway name here>? It's not. Imagine if one car had swerved, just a little bit, as the motorcycle was going by. Bam. Splat. That's it. No more motorcycle. No more rider. That fast, and he'd be dead." :v:
No hooning allowed on Facepunch.
Holy shit I felt a slight rush from watching this video
its not like anyone died or anything right guys lol
Whenever i travel east through the rockies across the BC / Alberta border there's people on motorcycles ripping around the mountains during the summer doing insanely stupid speeds and cutting the corners. Honestly i have yet to see someone riding a crotch rocket who isn't excessively breaking the speed limit
Didn't I see something like this before, but with a Russian motercyclist? Seems to be a sport for some people.
vehicle safety veterans of fp 2012 no risks allowed
Are you 15?
See this way too often on US-22/I-476/Schuylkill Expressway, some even have the nerve to do such a thing in cars and trucks.
wow, he'd have no time to react if someone decided to change lanes without looking properly in front of him
Because he was going 299kmph, not 300.
Its worth pointing out that those instruments aren't exact. They typically have a fair margin that can actually make you several kmph faster or slower. So rounding up to 300 wouldn't exactly be incorrect.

Sticking to the given 299 is most accurate.
