I thought if people didn't have easy access to guns no one would be trying to kill anyone else because it's too hard to use a weapon other than guns especially when trying to kill lots of people in one attack because it's easy to pull the trigger a lot in a very short time compared to how long it takes to stab even one person to death not that I have stabbed anyone to death so that's what I've heard.

Firearms are lethal force, regardless of whether you actually kill someone or just hit them, at least that's the general here, may not apply so much in Germany. Besides, he probably had more than one officer shooting at him.

He's either a psycopath or was bullied. They didn't have to shoot him full of holes, though.
