It's called death
:wtc: You cant feel anything when you're dead, dingus. [editline]08:58PM[/editline]
That doesn't make sense, I'm sure that people like the buzz when you drink an okay amount, but if you get drunk, won't you feel sick and lightheaded?
Find a drink that suits your tastes. Then find out for yourself, dont guess how people feel.
You're a depressant. Alcohol makes you feel real good. You also get better at everything when you're drunk (including singing and dancing).
Actually it makes you so depressed you're too depressed to really give a damn. That's why people do some really stupid shit while drinking. Its not because you're happy, its because of the contradiction created by alcohol's effect on you.
And how does that not make you feel merry?
It does, I'm actually a really happy drunk, but then I get carried away and regret it later. It's totally not worth it the next day. :(
Cider is the beer alternative that doesn't make you look like a pussy.
You're still pussy for not drinking beer. I can't drink cider, I had a bad experience with it :v: [editline]09:08AM[/editline] I used to drink more when I was 17, when I turned 18 the fun of trying to get into clubs went away. [editline]09:11AM[/editline]
Since the limit here is 18, I don't drink. (Respect to da police)But i don't look down on others who drink, but i usually own them by brining my guitar and playing something rather weird (something that works and is almost awful). If they tell me to shut up I ask "why should i?" They have ALWAYS said "It's annoying". I ALWAYS answer "I am annoyed that you're drinking" and yes, i do that just to annoy people.
So you don't look down on those who drink, you just annoy them. I bet you go to all the parties.
I drink it more than just to feel good. I do it to have a great party with my friends. Than get money back for all the beer we drank. Repeat.
Alcohol makes you feel good. Disagree? I feel good when I drink, dont know about you.
Have you ever tried 10 shots in 10 minutes? That doesn't make you feel good.
I rarely drink... It's too much like work for me to keep a buzz going and I come from an alcoholic family and I refuse to become an alcoholic.
I rarely drink... It's too much like work for me to keep a buzz going and I come from an alcoholic family and I refuse to become an alcoholic.
It's to much effort to drink at least one drink an hour?
No. It's a huge effort for me to keep a buzz. Once I get the buzz, it's nearly impossible for me to stay buzzed without getting completely hammered.
No. It's a huge effort for me to keep a buzz. Once I get the buzz, it's nearly impossible for me to stay buzzed without getting completely hammered.
When you say buzz you mean getting drunk?
Yeah, that'd be a buzz.
Yeah, that'd be a buzz.
You struggle to stay drunk?
Yes.
I drink for two reasons. One, it generally gives me a good feeling and is generally harmless (in sensible doses) and two, there's some good-tasting drinks out there, if they're alcoholic, so be it.
Alcohol is poison, why do you think it damages your liver?
I drink alcohol (jack daniels) when i goto pubs and eat chicken snitchel. Rest of the time im never in the mood.
I hate my country
I hate my country
Warm beer :barf:
36% of men drank over the reccommended limit last month Which is an amazing 5 standard drinks...
Alcohol can make you feel amazing. it can also make you feel terrible. it's really a toss up. Some people can drink, and some can't.
So depressed I feel happy? Can't you see how stupid you sound?
I know I sound stupid because thats how stupid drinking alcohol is. That was the point I was trying to make and it flew by your head.
I know I sound stupid because thats how stupid drinking alcohol is. That was the point I was trying to make and it flew by your head.
There's nothing wrong with drinking alcohol once in a while, if you can control your damn self. My brother's girlfriend has "make up" nights if she doesn't drink on a Friday or something. She'll also drink on a Sunday night when she has work at 7AM. That's stupid.
If you've ever been in Australia for more than a week (over 18 years of age too, of course), you would already know this information. Seriously, we're born drinkers and it's become part of our culture.
Have you ever tried 10 shots in 10 minutes? That doesn't make you feel good.
Dont drink 10 shots? Make a drink last, enjoy it for what it is. Not unless you want to be really well and truly smashed.
I know I sound stupid because thats how stupid drinking alcohol is. That was the point I was trying to make and it flew by your head.
Please back that shit up with some sources. Wouldn't this mean that people with real depressions would be happy too?
Please back that shit up with some sources. Wouldn't this mean that people with real depressions would be happy too?
I see what he's trying to say, but he's still wrong. Alcohol is not an emotional depressant, whoever thought that was an idiot. It's a neuro-depressant and slows down everything in your body, that doesn't mean you get sad though.
Alcohol is a depressant.
It decreases activity in your brain, it doesn't make you feel depressed, there is a difference.
