There are thousands of innocent woman and children in that country and you want to kill them? It doesn't matter where they are from that would still be taking a human life. We can't just run around blowing everything up and killing whoever we please. If we were to nuke them we would also hurt the countries around Iraq with fallout. They don't sound that skilled, to be honest. I mean, considering this is a major offensive on the part of the US, only killing 1 US soldier by sniper fire is hardly effective. Besides that, contrary to poular belief, trained marksmen don't always hit with their first shot. Infact, that's rare if you're engaging new targets every few seconds like Marines just peeking out of a corner.

The Coalition should employ drones armed with thermal cameras and machine guns, and use them in seek & destroy missions against enemy marksmen. Missiles are far more expensive, and MGs can work just as well if not better against infantry. I can see this becoming quite problematic. I can't see how the Coalition forces are going to be able to keep the idea of zero tolerance of civilian casualties and still effectively root out snipers.
