didnt xbox live in the uk have sky ? lol bit late in the day
Xbox 360 has always been a home entertainment device much like the ps3. It sounds cool to me. However, like everything else i know microsoft will just balls it up. Too few choices, too expensive, to elaborate, not convenient enough, etc.
Awesome, I'm excited. They're a bit late to the game, but since it will probably piggyback of the Xbox everyone already has, they will have a slight startup advantagge. Really, who doesn't want more features? It's not like you have to use it. And if it's good, you will probably like it.
I thought it was going to be something where there's a channel of just interesting matches on x-box live. That would be pretty cool, actually. I wouldn't pay for it, and it would get old after awhile, but it'd be pretty cool.
"Xbox Live Gold and other subscriptions required" I knew it was too good to be true, but I could have hoped.
It says and/or other subscriptions. Still, I'd be surprised if it's just a gold subscription needed. If so, I'll get it just for the HBO Go content.

I'm sure this'll go great with my TV that already has freeview built in. What a wonderful and useful feature that isn't specifically targeted towards the US market.
This would be cool if I watched TV really... though I wish they'd put that voice recognition to better use, because typing on a console without a keypad attachment is always the worst thing ever
How long til we turn into the people in [the movie with the robot that dosent talk]?
Might actually make xbl worth the money. I mean they have to bring something new to the table if they are charging for there online service.
That would actually be awesome. $60 for LIVE doesn't seem like such a bad deal if you eventually get to cut out your satellite/cable bill and save some bank.
$60 doesn't seem too bad for those services, but we're also dealing with Microsoft here. $20 price hike starting next year.
I buy my cards now from Amazon for 50 dollars each, i am simply not paying 60.
$60 doesn't seem too bad for those services, but we're also dealing with Microsoft here. $20 price hike starting next year.
That is too generous. It may become $100 a year for XBL Gold next year.
The last price increase was to accommodate for these new features.
It's so late who cares.
It would be great if we got Hulu and some of the other stuff here in the UK, but we don't.
