Can't wait to hear Xbox Fanboys defending always online DRM, if that's true.
Why do you feel the need to drop into every news thread about video games on a gamer forum and tell everyone how much you don't care about video games? Who are you trying to impress?
its not that i don't care about video games. its that i don't care about having to be connected to the internet to play video games. ya'll are blowing this way out of proportion.
HAH! Get bent microsoft! My internet is spotty at best, so this damn thing would be an expensive paper weight at best. I'm really beginning to fear the worst, because all microsoft has to do is say "it won't be always online" and they haven't yet. Oh well, just more room for Sony to create another "PS2" so to speak.
you say that but dumb stoner frat bro morons are unpredictable
They won't be saying that when they can't play their halo for several hours during maintenance or like a week after the next xbox launches.
326 quid holy fuck
Why are they calling this just "Xbox"? do they want people confusing this with the system before the 360?
The name "Xbox" is pretty much part of every Microsoft product now, it's 'integrated' into Windows 8, Windows Phone and all that. They want to establish the name as an entertainment platform, becoming more than just a console - so nummerizing wouldn't make sense to them
I'd feel bad for those people who don't have an internet connection to handle the Xbox, and they actually want this piece of shit.
If someone buys this console and cries when they can't use it due to server issues or their own internet problems then they don't deserve sympathy. At this point the new Xbox is going to be bought only by Xbox fanboys or adults who clearly don't know any better.
Been taking a backseat here, but what? Are you on drugs or something? Halo 4 had a brilliant campaign.
I am laughing tears right now.
$500 (in this economy) for a console with no games Still having to pay a subscription fee just to play multiplayer portion of a game I already bought Menu being ugly Windows 8 garbage. Littered with advertisements of no benefit to me. Constant internet connection meaning that you won't be able to use the Xbox during bad weather or when someone else is consuming the internet. Without internet connection (which isn't always available), the Xbox becomes a $500 paper weight. Things are not looking good for the new Xbox.
I'm glad you're here to tell me what to do with my money.
Wait huh? I'm not telling you what to do with your money?
Constant internet connection meaning that you won't be able to use the Xbox during bad weather
why would your internet go out, but not your electricity? thats the most implausible thing i've heard all day
why would your internet go out, but not your electricity? thats the most implausible thing i've heard all day
It's not our internet that we're concerned about.
why would your internet go out, but not your electricity? thats the most implausible thing i've heard all day
Happens to me all the time, especially during foul weather. Appears to be a short in the line somewhere, but Comcast won't fix it.
why would your internet go out, but not your electricity? thats the most implausible thing i've heard all day
What Even my internet drops out from time to time without the power going out. The two are hardly directly related (as in it doesn't require power going out for internet to go out). I'm not going to spend 500 dollars on a machine that refuses to operate when my internet drops until someone cracks it.
why would your internet go out, but not your electricity? thats the most implausible thing i've heard all day
Are you retarded
I'm not really sure what to expect with this, it seems like it could go either way depending on the games they release. $500 seems pretty steep though
Menu being ugly Windows 8 garbage. Littered with advertisements of no benefit to me.
I was actually really surprised when I used an X360 for the first time in years and saw that it was literally covered in ads. How is that okay for something you're paying a subscription for?
why would your internet go out, but not your electricity? thats the most implausible thing i've heard all day
I can't tell if you are joking or you have never lived outside a nice suburb
My internet's not reliable for this shit, Hello Playstation. You want to know how bad my internet is? So bad I ALSO have DSL which is equally as bad, but AT&T tried to fist me in my ass so fuck that, and got rid of that. My internet's so bad, that whenever I get a phone call and answer it, it knocks my internet off and I have to wait for it to come back up, then call the person who called me. Using about 10% of my bandwidth (About 200kb/s and up downloading) for more than a few minutes knocks the internet off. It goes down randomly throughout the day every day. And I know there are people in the same boat all over the world, so why would Always On be a good idea, ever
why would your internet go out, but not your electricity? thats the most implausible thing i've heard all day
Are you actually serious

We'll have to see though. The thing is who is going to give enough of a shit to crack the new Xbox? Not like it offers anything substantial over Sony and Nintendo other than Xbox players getting the newest CoD Map Pack first. Plus there;s only 3 exclusives: Two horrifically generic shooters and a simulation racer.
Been taking a backseat here, but what? Are you on drugs or something? Halo 4 had a brilliant campaign.
You sir, are a funny man indeed.
What they say it will cost, only $500.00 USD Real Cost $500 Console Internet $60 games because there is no backwards compatibility Monthly subscription fee (To play the games) Which equals, fuck you loyal customers When did Microsoft turn into EA?
What? No real gamer would stand for the shit Microsoft is doing. If a "gamer" says always-online CONSOLES is a good idea then they are just sheep.
i think hes lmaoing more at people who cal thenselves gamers, or people like you who take it a step further and insist that they are "real" gamers which I'm gonna be honest thats pretty fucking hilarious
why would your internet go out, but not your electricity? thats the most implausible thing i've heard all day
With internet connections you don't only have to worry about your own but about others. Because if their server fucks up, you can't do anything. Also, overall the average internet connection speed is appauling.
Been taking a backseat here, but what? Are you on drugs or something? Halo 4 had a brilliant campaign.
He's right guys. Ruining an entire franchise with 1 installment is quite a brilliant feat.

The PS3 was 600 dollars, no doubt the new Xbox will be around the same price.
He's right guys. Ruining an entire franchise with 1 installment is quite a brilliant feat.
Not just a franchise, but one of the most beloved franchises of the past decade.
Fuck the people who live out in areas that don't have internet or broadband I guess. Guess Microsoft doesn't want their business.
