Joining the military is great and all (or not so) but you guy's aren't considering the vast majority of people that are disqualified from joining because of medical reasons that may not even be that bad. The military isn't an option for everyone. Leaving people with no option BUT to get these massive loans.
And what about people who want to go to university and have no choice?
And what about people who want to go to university and have no choice?
As a person with a mental disorder I have learned that you need to bend over and accept societies phallus.
And what about people who want to go to university and have no choice?
Well I personally accepted the simple fact that so long as I kill my self before I default and cause my parents financial problems, all my debt is wiped clean as if it never happened. That's the only way to absolve student debt in this country, even bankruptcy can't do it. So basically accept your mortality and try to avoid having to face it, but you might just gotta.

No idea what it was called but it's more or less exactly that. Maybe if we all just figure out how to fake our own deaths....

But to be fair whenever anyone asks me about the reality of my student debt I find my self saying it with only the weak, nervous laugh of a man who's only laughing to project the facade of a joke, despite reality having a much more grave face, as if it were a matter of pleasantry and social etiquette to do so.
From the perspective of someone living in a country where the government gives you money to get a higher education, this is not sounding like a very great, leading country...
Education doesn't make America great. If you want to make a living as a real American, just go back in the coal mines and provide for your family. Slap your wife around for some stress relief. When your kids can walk, send them to work in construction, so they can crawl to places the adults can't in the vents. If they die, just rape your wife and make some more. Gotta miss the good ol' days of American exceptionalism. We need more blue collar jobs, and we need less awful regulations. Workplace safety isn't necessary - Americans are always safe thanks to our military.
