No shit. Can we just get Garry to rig up an autoban for anyone that posts "foxnews.com" in a URL?
But what if we wanted to link to fox to make fun of them
But what if we wanted to link to fox to make fun of them
"Hey everyone, check out this hilarious article on how Cash for Clunkers will lead to a socialist utopia. Yes, as expected, it's another gem from Fox News OH SHI--" You're right, that's probably a bad idea. I'd settle for just locking Glaber out of the news section. Between that and Lankist's ban, this place might actually be civilized and interesting for a couple of days.
I liked Lankist
lol, there are 3 different arguments going on simultaneously in this thread.
impeach
What the hell is wrong with Fox News? It is one of the most reliable and unbiased news sources in the U.S. [sp]If you haven't already noticed, it's a joke.[/sp]
Yeah if the presenters got their right leg blown off.
A normal day in the life of Obama.
BREAKING NEWS: President Obama "did not wash his hands after using the toilet", millions outraged, communists seem unaffected. See the shocking connection at 11. :foxnews:
I bet the Anti-Christ was out lynching white people. [editline]11:31AM[/editline] commie
how many mistkaes must he make before we IMPEECH the fucker!!
Then your a idiot. It's like going to your friends how and calling his dog, Fred, Because that's the name of your dog.
Living in Australia, I call the sport soccer. If I go to Britain, I'll try and remember to call it football to avoid confusion and I'd hope a British person would do the same if they came here. It's not like this is an American thread, though. He can call it football if he wants.
Sounds like this was a big fuckin' deal
No it's not, his dog would not be called Fred, mine wouldn't, however if i called "soccer" football, then that's perfectly ok as that's what everyone in my country does, and you're well within your rights to call football soccer. i don't mind, once again you silly Americans are just trying to bo right.
Not only that, everywhere else in the world it is called Football, and not soccer.
I believe the big deal is because Obama is the President, he is an important figure who's whereabouts must be known about at all times. As long as Obama is acting president, the press will continue to surround him until he's out of office. Stupid yes, but still important. I'm sure that even Bush and Clinton had to put up with this.
He's also a human being. Fuck the press, if he wants to go somewhere privately he has the right to do so.
Good on him, I'd hate to have a bunch of photographers following me every time I left my house.
Although nobody outside the White House or the press may have noticed, Obama broke years of tradition.
This is as close as the article gets to criticising him. They fail to append "and tradition is important therefore Obama is BAD" because it's fairly obvious that this seems like a pretty stupid tradition.
Lankist's ban, this place might actually be civilized and interesting for a couple of days.
Lankist was the best poster in this section. The only reason it gets whacky with him around is because he stirs up debates like a motherfucker, and even then he can debate more intelligently than anyone else.
This is as close as the article gets to criticising him. Descent for descent's sake is therefore the purest form of patriotic!
I'd hate the president if i was going to my kid's soccer game only to be swarmed by the press there for him.
Lankist was the best poster in this section. If I were the president, I'd never allow the press corps near me unless it was a speech or something similar. If I went to see my kid at a soccer game, the most I'd have with me is some secret service bodyguards.
No he wasn't, he just pontificated about how awesome at debating he is and disregarded everybody else's statements unless they conformed to his silly little wannabe lawyer standards.
Do you have any examples of this because this just looks like a personal opinion
this is a good post
i like your use of capital letters and punctuation
Historical record? Sure, cos something super important's gonna happen at a football match.
THIS JUST IN: Obama ASSASSINATED at football match
To be honest, I wouldn't want the press following me around constantly either.
No he wasn't, he just pontificated about how awesome at debating he is and disregarded everybody else's statements unless they conformed to his silly little wannabe lawyer standards.
Lankist is tricky because he won't say something stupid when you beat him in a debate like other people will. You have to know when you've won. Assert this, and he'd eventually switch to sarcastic posts mode instead of vicious debater mode.
Scottish or British.
Haha
Nothing has even gone wrong.
