I'm pretty sure they don't want a dude running around murdering people, but at least this guy isn't doing it for absolutely no reason. It's still obviously fucking wrong, but it's better than just a dude killing cops because fuck da police
I fail to see how its any better. He is just a psychopath with a manifesto. Its really not going to count for much to the people he murdered.
im confused, more violence and harm will be caused if we DO arrest him than if we DONT? can you explain this [editline]8th February 2013[/editline] guess i should have read his mind then my bad
If we don't arrest him, he fades and is forgotten, having successfully spread his message, and chances are things will be considered with his message in people's minds. If he is caught, continued media coverage of the court case, longer buildup of opinion, resulting in more fighting and stronger entrenchment in opinion, all the while everyone is concerned about HIM rather than his MESSAGE and REASONS to kill, mostly thanks to the media.
lol kopimi I just skimmed throughout the thread and literally nobody said "yeah, go kill more cops dude, you've got the right idea!!"
Definitely, one thing that isn't even accurately represented by any means gives off being a sociopath.
okay, you're just grasping at straws dude
Definitely, one thing that isn't even accurately represented by any means gives off being a sociopath.
uh ive kinda already explained why its sociopathic so idk if you just wanna keep saying "nuh uh" over and over again go ahead but im not really paying attention
I'm convinced that Fox News is an elaborate prank. They find a way to pick the opposing view point in all cases.
That's CNN, not Fox News.
uh ive kinda already explained why its sociopathic so idk if you just wanna keep saying "nuh uh" over and over again go ahead but im not really paying attention
I'm not saying "nuh uh." You're being idiotic and stating that one trait is enough to determine whether someones a sociopath which is completely wrong.
Better assume that they agree with a specific part of a post rather than stir more shit and call them sociopaths.
yes i should definitely just assume that when people read an entire post and click "agree" they disagree with that post thank you [editline]8th February 2013[/editline]
I'm not saying "nuh uh."
"i dont want this murderer to get caught because i agree with his message"
It wasn't a definite "I don't want X." Don't put words in people's mouths.
I'm pretty sure they don't want a dude running around murdering people, but at least this guy isn't doing it for absolutely no reason. It's still obviously fucking wrong, but it's better than just a dude killing cops because fuck da police
Yeah, not to mention if he ONLY wanted to kill he could have just went on a mass murdering spree or gone a shot up a mall, theater, etc. But he didn't, there's motive behind it. Doesn't make him a good guy but at least he didn't gun down a whole classroom of young children. Which I'm thankful for, just wish they'd catch this guy already, I don't want to see him killed though. I'm particularly interested in his reasoning.
"i dont want this murderer to get caught because i agree with his message" [editline]8th February 2013[/editline] none of this explains how more violence would be caused by his arrest
More attention, more hatred, larger chances of others agreeing that killing is a means to an end, which it isn't. I don't even fully agree with his message, but the consequences of what happens next is what matters.
It wasn't a definite "I don't want X." Don't put words in people's mouths.
ah you're right it was a "MMAYYBE this guy who has killed innocent people shouldn't get caught, i'm still on the fence about it". how terrible of me to put words in his mouth
ah you're right it was a "MMAYYBE this guy who has killed innocent people shouldn't get caught, i'm still on the fence about it". how terrible of me to put words in his mouth
Did it ever occur to you how you're using 16x16 icons as the crux for what might be the stupidest argument ever?
More attention, more hatred, larger chances of others agreeing that killing is a means to an end, which it isn't. I don't even fully agree with his message, but the consequences of what happens next is what matters.
and these people wouldn't agree killing is a means to an end if he escaped apparently? arresting him wouldn't cause any violence at all you're just forming a flimsy argument out of ridiculous assumptions that people will somehow become violent ONLY if he is arrested
Just get out, kopimi. You're doing nothing productive but arguing pointlessly with no definitive goal.
Did it ever occur to you how you're using 16x16 icons as the crux for what might be the stupidest argument ever?
did it ever occur to you that 16x16 icon represents something
Just get out, kopimi. You're doing nothing productive but arguing pointlessly with no definitive goal.
thanks for the advice ill definitely take this into consideration
ah you're right it was a "MMAYYBE this guy who has killed innocent people shouldn't get caught, i'm still on the fence about it". how terrible of me to put words in his mouth
Please stop posting.
Did it ever occur to you how you're using 16x16 icons as the crux for what might be the stupidest argument ever?
sry i didnt know that humans have telepathy duder
and these people wouldn't agree killing is a means to an end if he escaped apparently? arresting him wouldn't cause any violence at all you're just forming a flimsy argument out of ridiculous assumptions that people will somehow become violent ONLY if he is arrested
Not the people, but other, armed people with the same opinions.
did it ever occur to you that 16x16 icon represents something
it represents how fucking sad and pathetic some people are for prosecuting other people on the internet for clicking a 16x16 icon.
did it ever occur to you that 16x16 icon represents something
Did it ever occur to you that a 16x16 icon is just a fucking icon? What it means to you may mean different to others. You're acting like a tool to be judging people over a virtual icon.
Not the people, but other, armed people with the same opinions.
right and how would him being arrested suddenly make these armed people go over the edge and start murdering [editline]8th February 2013[/editline]
Did it ever occur to you that a 16x16 icon is just a fucking icon? im fucking angry at the corruption of the white house brb, gonna kill random innocent people and some congressman turn me into an anti-hero btw!
im confused, more violence and harm will be caused if we DO arrest him than if we DONT? can you explain this [editline]8th February 2013[/editline] guess i should have read his mind then my bad
Or maybe you could stop making inane fucking assumptions, continually repeating yourself for the sake of having the last word, and maybe, just maybe contradict your increasingly accurate title. The reason he might want him to not be caught is so that the morbidly corrupt can of worms that is the L.A. Police Department could be exposed and see justice, not so that he could kill more innocent cops that the corrupt members LAPD are sending to play the part of meatshield for them.
right and how would him being arrested suddenly make these armed people go over the edge and start murdering
\ More people will know about him, more people will develop opinions about his means, and people already skewed towards that opinion will see a means to an end. I know this topic is a bit off since it's highschoolers/sociopaths/chilren, but the recent string of school shootings should reinforce this fact.
how would arresting him prevent his message from getting out? he's already put out his manifesto and released his information, catching a murderer isn't going to magically make the commotion he's caused disappear
and the moral of the story is?????????????????????????????????????????
how would arresting him prevent his message from getting out? he's already put out his manifesto and released his information, catching a murderer isn't going to magically make the commotion he's caused disappear
Jesus christ. Information builds and attention mounts, arguments heighten, and chances of violence increase.
