He's not going to if he follows what he said he was, he's going to something and get himself killed, he doesn't want to survive, he says he's already "dead".
Didn't he steal a boat from some yacht club? What ever happened to it, anyway? Did he crash it, or could he be en route to Panama?
He couldn't operate it so he just fled from what I understand.

Dude could be anywhere, he's had plenty of time to at least exit the country.
I can agree with what he believes in, but the guy is god damned scum for approaching it in this way. I do not care if he said "I went through every legal option." I refuse to believe there was no other option for him other than him shooting and killing people. He should have searched for more options than this, because I am sure they were there. Now he has himself branded as a murderer, and his message of undoing the corruption of the LAPD is going to be completely tarnished and ultimately over looked because he is a damned monster. I don't see how he can say what he is doing is "A necessary evil", it is completely unnecessary. There is ALWAYS an alternative to things like this than shooting people for no good reason.
Name cleared or death is what it seems like, but to be honest I don't see this ending in any way but a standoff or a suicide.
I respect him. Not his motives, but from everything i have heard, he is a dedicated person. His cause may be right, but the means dont justify it. If however, he began killing the corrupt policemembers, i wouldn't have that big of an issue.
This is a perfect of example of "The ends dont justify the means"

he's not a criminal that's in it for profit, like most criminals, he's got a strong agenda, that involves fucking up the LAPD, so it would make sense for him to stay in the area.
I wouldnt be surprised if he lays low for a week or two somewhere pre planned out, till the heat dies down a little, then starts hitting.

well yeah, isn't that what serial killers usually do?

the issue is the whole "homeland security" thing
regardless of his skills, he's still on a timer.

I'm sorry but I don't understand xP
is the DHS getting involved?
I'm sorry but I don't understand xP

Yes.
It's really going to be a mess if he does decide to do something and they have all these other agencies involved just doing their job. He's going to not give two fucks about anyone at all and probably lead to even more innocent people being hurt.
What I don't understand is why he made the message as public as he did, instead of hit hard and leave it for someone to find. Or even have it automatically post itself after a certain amount of time to ensure it isn't just wiped out.
Yes.
that could be a blessing or a curse for him, depending on how inter-agency coordination works
if they fuck it up it could lead to longer response times, etc
if it works well, he's going to have a shitload more people with guns on his tail
What I don't understand is why he made the message as public as he did, instead of hit hard and leave it for someone to find. Or even have it automatically post itself after a certain amount of time to ensure it isn't just wiped out.
Because the chaos of the situation creates more problems for his targets.
e.g. the Torrance police fucking up those two women in the truck.

are you implying the LAPD, if they found it, wouldnt edit and censor the shit out of it? especially if they want to cover up abuse and racial discrimination?
If hes in a rural place hiding out thermal imaging will get time pretty quick I think.
If hes hiding in an urban place they'll have to reply on the media painting a bad enough picture of him so he gets ratted out.

I'm still not sure if the one released wasn't tampered with itself, disinformation from the FBI could be playing a big role in hiding what the real manifesto said.

possible. if this guy knows what's up we'll probably be getting a message from him about it if his manifesto was edited in any way.
edit: by "we" i mean the media and the public

The issue is, how will he relay information without
1. It being tampered with?
2. Giving away his position?

he sent a tape and a badge to CNN, he could just do the same with a letter?
btw there is not ONE photo released of this guy that doesnt have him SMILING in it. normally these stories in the media have photos of the suspect looking stern. the LAPD and some media must be kinda pissed.
here's a photo of him and the police chief (you may recognize the photo without the police chief)

damn he's jacked
wouldn't want to get into a fight with him.
Am I the only one that is wondering why its taking so long for them to get him, I would be pissed if my tax dollars are getting sent to find 1 guy using 10 k other guys and no one has found a single thing.
I agree with his statements but not his actions.
He even proves their statement when 2 LAPD officers shot random victims who were nowhere near his identity.

Because 4+ years of prep and large amounts of military and police experience.

You must have been super pissed about Osama Bin Laden then

he's been planning this for possibly five years. he was the top sniper in the time he spent in the navy. he put a delayed timer on his truck and by the time it was set ablaze he was already long gone. he timed the shootings and the police search with the heavy snow storm forecast, and coming thunderstorms.
they haven't caught him because he's a smart mother fucker.

Holy fuck we are dealing with the black Max Payne here, if he was planning that long I assume he probably also has a ticket out of the country and a fake identity all ready to go if the heat gets to hot. I can imagine a guy like this working mercenary in Africa or doing some kinds of tough jobs like that.

There's really no way for him to do that, he isn't exactly the type of guy who'd blend in.
Everyone in the country who deals with people entering and leaving knows what he looks like.
An Enid church is a little richer today thanks to the integrity of Lt. Andrew Baugher, a Marine student at Vance, and Ensign Chris Dorner, a Navy student pilot.
The two were driving into Enid Sunday afternoon when they spotted a bank bag in the middle of the road.
After turning around, they picked up the bag and found it contained nearly $8,000. They promptly took the bag to the Enid Police Department
The money belongs to Enid Korean Church of Grace, 724 W. Randolph, and the bag contained $7,792 in cash and checks.
When the two opened the envelope, they saw the checks and the church’s deposit slip.
Not everyone would have returned the money, but Baugher and Dorner said “it’s an integrity thing.”
“The military stresses integrity,” Dorner said. “There was a couple of thousand dollars, and if people are willing to give that to a church, it must be pretty important to them.”
Dorner said his mother taught him honesty and integrity.
“I didn’t work for it, so it’s not mine. And it was for the church,” he said. “It’s not so much the integrity, but it was someone else’s money. I would hope someone would do that for me.”
