He should know carrying a phone with a signal can be tracked too, so he probably doesn't even have a mobile phone on him.
I was thinking this too, but it would be tied to the cell towers or if he has an Android it has emergency GPS with your Lat and Long, pretty much very accurate.
He already killed two civilians to get revenge on someone else. So as far as I'm considered, he's no better than anyone he's trying to kill.
It was never proven, from what I heard. They tied it to him because of his connections and the fact the LAPD opened fire on him because they thought he was tied to it.
If I'm wrong please correct me, I'm not trying to be an ass or know it all.
This guy doesn't seem very heroic to me
Heroic people do not tie 81 year old people to boats and leave them to rot when they can't steal their boat.
He is for gun control, yet he's killed two people.
How ironic.
Sounds to me like he's just upset that he lost.
holy shit dude you've cracked the case !!
Christopher Dorner @ChrisDorner_
A name is more than just a noun, verb, or adjective. It's your life, your legacy, your journey, and your sacrifices.
Quite the philosopher.

I'm not trying to paint him as a hero. I just want to know why. I don't think he's gone insane like all the others, which makes this more interesting than other cases. He's just at wit's end and now wants to publicly make a point through action rather than failed words.
It's hard to defend him when he kills people related to the case either by blood or uniform though.

I never said you did. I was just referring to how he refers to himself as a hero
Maybe he set up the twitter beforehand?
This guy is a real piece of shit. I hope he gets life in prison and runs into someone he helped put there.
its very easy to set up a twitter from your phone

He wants gun control because of how stupidly easy it was for him to obtain his guns.
[A]re you aware that I obtained class III weapons (suppressors) without a background check thru NICS or DROS completely LEGALLY several times? I was able to use a trust account that I created on quicken will maker and a $10 notary charge at a mailbox etc. to obtain them legally. Granted, I am not a felon, nor have a DV misdemeanor conviction or active TRO against me on a NCIC file. I can buy any firearm I want, but should I be able to purchase these class III weapons (SBR’s, and suppressors) without a background check and just a $10 notary signature on a quicken will maker program? The answer is NO. I’m not even a resident of the state i purchased them in. Lock n Load just wanted money so they allow you to purchase class III weapons with just a notarized trust, military ID. Shame on you, Lock n Load. NFA and ATF need new laws and policies that do not allow loopholes such as this. In the end, I hope that you will realize that the small arms I utilize should not be accessed with the ease that I obtained them. Who in there right mind needs a fucking silencer!!! who needs a freaking SBR AR15? No one.
This crime spree apparently coincides with his 8 year anniversary of joining (leaving?) the LAPD. Not sure which one.
he's tweeting here:

This is just a /b/tard posting quotes from his manifesto and spamming it online
Maybe he set up the twitter beforehand?
But as another user had said, I doubt he has a cell phone. Another thing that's kind of weird is his username is ChristopherDorner_. I'm sure if he wanted his Twitter to be seen he would have used his official name or shortened.
I could go into detail about his post about gun control, but for the point of not derailing the thread I won't.

Movie references aside, this really feels... unreal. A cop snaps and starts killing people "in the name of justice", so to say, the police force is, well, out in force to stop him, innocents get harmed in the crossfire - it's like a freakin' movie, I'd have never thought somethin' like this could happen in real life.
best case scenario: he's found and captured non-harmfully before he hurts anyone else, gets a lengthy prison sentence, and the judical process is public enough to tell if any of his claims have any merit
worst case scenario: he manages to kill more innocents and when he's finally captured he's either shot on-site by an itchy officer or thrown into jail while they make sure the media don't look into anything he wrote
most probable scenario: they find him, pump him full of lead and call it a day

If it isn't someone spamming from /b/, it's possible he set up a drafts / queue to start posting at intervals once he decided he would start.
He'd be smart enough to do it from a completely remote location, of course, so it'd offer no information to his whereabouts.

i doubt a smart person would set up a gimmicky twitter that spammed shit from his already public manifesto

- Taken from manifest.
It's not him.
make sure the media don't look into anything he wrote
Don't worry, they haven't reported the parts of his manifesto that actually matter.
Manhunt: CNN's Anderson Cooper says he got package from fugitive
CNN newsman Anderson Cooper received a package thought to be from the ex-Los Angeles police officer-turned fugitive Christopher Dorner a week before the massive manhunt that has gripped Southern California.
"Learned today suspect Christopher Dorner sent me a parcel at CNN. Inside was a note, DVD, and a coin shot thru with bullet holes," Cooper said in a Twitter message Thursday.
Very respectfully.
Everyone loves The Coop.
I don't get why sites like Reddit are automatically jumping onto a "This guy is somewhat justified, fuck the police" standpoint.
Actually, I'm not too sure what to think about this. Is it justified at all or is he just a highly trained madman?
I don't think anyone should stand anywhere,
everything released could be doctored

apparently some manifesto publishings had some things omitted/changed (something about his stance on obama?), don't quote me on it tho
