So what happens in a case where a man murders a woman and claims it was done while she was adulterous, declares 4 times her guilt so that the crime is mitigated to Tazir?

The woman is in no position to declare her innocence while dead.
Then he has to prove it in front of a court of course, you know, with a judge (actually 3), forensics, and a lawyer. The whole package.

I didn't know the Qu'ran said anything about forensic sciences.

Well, I'm not sure if they had forensics 1400 years ago either.

So then that's absolutely irrelevant to the ideals and doctrine that is declared by the Qu'ran.

I talk about the Qu'ran as it is written. I'm not talking about how you declare it is supposed to be interpreted.
@voodooattack
You can disagree with what i said, but my dad is a native Egyptian and has lived through 3 different changes in regime. Ever since the king left power, the military has been in control. Unless some western powers decide to OBLITERATE the country (cause the military won't go out without a fight), you'll have to settle with your lousy excuse of democracy.

Qur'an teaches us to make do, if there's a better way to be do something that does not go against virtue, use it.
If you have forensics, you have a simple and direct approach to solve the problem. I'm not sure if you get that concept or not.
You are all dodging the point. I don't give a fuck why Allah said to fucking cover women like livestock, I take issue with the fact that your imaginary god told you to cover women like livestock.
veiling is a difficult subject in the quran as the quran emphasizes modest dressing and recomends that females wear a jilbab - not as subjugation, but so they couldn't be harassed. even then the practice of of veiling was never really deeply rooted in islam itself - rather it was really more of a cultural export of syria and byzantium.
muhammad's wives notably did not practice veiling but after his wives were repeatedly agitated by men in bedouin communities he suggests the act of segregating them in the quran as protection with veiling. even then, veiling in that sura of the quran is never specifically referred to as an article of clothing, but more likely as an obstruction.

I'll just leave this here because she says it better than I could.

Where does the Qu'ran tell you to "make do"? Give me some verses, or is it just some imaginary interpretation that you just figured out?

Finally back to the topic at hand.
Then your dad just lived through the overthrowing of a president AND a king. :)
First time brought radical changes, I don't see why it wouldn't bring such a change now.
The other day I was walking the street when I heard a fruit vendor talking to an old lady about the elections and how good they felt about the revolution in general. That's when I knew we WILL get our country back, no matter what.
Trust me, if you were here you would have felt the synergy everyone experienced when Shafiq lost. Morsi was the other option and we got to pick our ruler for the first time in 7000 years. Not the ideal one, but one we brought with our voices and votes nonetheless.

Actually, it's a Hadith, a lot of them but I can't go through everything right now. (Had my wisdom tooth removed yesterday and it hurts like a bitch)
Feel free to browse though, you'll find them under the Knowledge category: http://www.quranexplorer.com/hadith/english/index.html
Serious question: Why do you follow islam? Were your parents muslims?
Unrelated:
You can hear alot in the news about women dressing up as skanks and ending up raped.
I sincerely hope you're not saying it is their fault for being raped.
Serious question: Why do you follow islam? Were your parents muslims?
Yes, however, that does not mean that I took the religion blindly.

Is getting mugged the victim's fault? Of course not. But then again, if the victim willingly went through a bad neighbourhood at night flaunting a bulging wallet at junkies on the street and gets mugged, I think that qualifies as the result of their own stupidity.
Not that I condone rape, but there's a line where you start wondering how stupid someone can be.
Religion has no place in politics, even if elected by the majority. Religion creates a false image of the world, which makes it impossible to take rational actions due to the absence of correct information. This ends up hitting you in the face with various degrees of severity. From suppression of stem cell and cloning research to the Dark Ages.
uninformed suckas in this thread need to read more before they form opinions.
I make this clear: Anyone who follows the rules of Islam as set out in the Qu'ran is an ignorant piece of shit.
Anyone who follows the rules of Christianity/Judaism as outlined in the Bible and Torah is an ignorant piece of shit.
Anyone who calls themselves a Muslim, Christian, or Jew, but does not subscribe to the ideals of their holy book is someone that I have no beef with. I am completely indifferent to the "progressive theist". I am NOT indifferent to the religious doctrine.
I still have no idea why they let you post on here. The very few times that you are actually coherent for once, the points you make are so incredibly biased and filled with a sense of self promotion and smug superiority just because you believe something that you view to be progressive. And you tend to project all others as being ignorant, barbaric buffoons.
Your opinion is just as warranted and correct as anyone else's. The inverse is also true. Get off your high horse.
