Sometimes the fascist in you comes bubbling to the surface in these threads, you creep.
Can't think of a rebuttal? Call them fascist!
Can't think of a rebuttal? Call them fascist!
You think people have no right to protest and demonstration. Even if they're under dictatorship. And you say creepy stuff all the time.
I don't care what happens to assad, I just want his family to be alright.
I don't care what happens to assad, I just want his family to be alright.
They all need to go into exile.
It's best for the government to win. In Egypt, rebels were the winners. We all know just how much shit happened to Egypt after that.
You think people have no right to protest and demonstration. Even if they're under dictatorship. And you say creepy stuff all the time.
Authoritarianism is fascism?
You think people have no right to protest and demonstration. Even if they're under dictatorship. And you say creepy stuff all the time.
Well I don't think they have a right to protest and demonstrate. If the government cared about their opinion they would ask. If they don't like it, they can vote with their feet. Notice how that has stepped up a hundredfold since the rebels started breaking everything?
Authoritarianism is fascism?
faschism is authoritarianism :eng101:
Assad is such a good guy, he can purge my society and bomb my hospitals anytime. [editline]!!![/editline] But only if it's done secularly!!!
no clear "good or evil" in a civil war. Assad probably is better than what will happen to the country but it could go either way at this point.
War is extremism.
you truly are the great mind of this generation
you truly are the great mind of this generation
Thanks.
You're going to have to give a better case study on why The Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt are a bunch of extremist terrorists sorry
Well, I'll stand corrected, I had them partially confused with other Islamic movements, it's hard to keep track of them all honestly, I'm not terribly big on Middle Eastern politics. However I'd call it a little far fetched to say that the largest Islamic group isn't composed of at least a few violent sects, though the main message of the group is for non-violence and peace in the last half decade or so. I read reports of them being banned from Egypt and other counties up until the 1970's for trying to violently overthrow governments, but there are people like that in the Western Christian groups as well. Otherwise, they're at least better than the groups that are actually bombing people.
They probably had it coming. Remember, popular politics is always low-intensity civil war. There is no such thing as "peaceful opposition" - if demonstrators are interfering with the workings of the state and they disobey orders to disperse, they cannot complain if the military opens fire.
Remember to hug your children, folks.
ALso they're not a radical terror group you hysterical muppet

The Brotherhood's stated goal is to instill the Qur'an and Sunnah as the "sole reference point for ...ordering the life of the Muslim family, individual, community ... and state." The movement is known for engaging in political violence, claiming responsibility for the installation of Hamas.[10] Muslim Brotherhood members are suspected to have assassinated political opponents like Egyptian Prime Minister Mahmoud an-Nukrashi Pasha.[9][10][11]
Okay.
It's best for the government to win. In Egypt, rebels were the winners. We all know just how much shit happened to Egypt after that.
In Libya the rebels were the winners. We all know that its getting better there. Just cause there were a lot of revolutions at the same time doesn't mean they all have the same factions at the same levels of prominence. Not to mention each country has a different history.
