• UK Investigatory Powers Bill Allows Government Agencies To View Entire Internet History

If I were to write a book about the current situation, I'd call it "How to get every single kingdom to secede from the union in 4 easy steps". This is beyond idiotic and does nothing but cuts away the freedom of a citizen. I wouldn't be surprised if heavy riots or a civil war happens due this 1984 bullshit. Is like UK is trying to become a wannabe USA to a point. From Brexit to even censoring porn for "unconventinal ways of sex" and having access to internet history is starting to feel like that the UK is no more better than Saudi Arabia at this point about porn and freedom. We only need an anglican Police and jail whoever is not anglican in religion and we are in the middle ages again. I feel sorry for this post and for every british person on FP, but this is my thought on all those situations that is happening.

Like I'm not going to vote Conservative, for general or local, I whine about it online, I talk about it with other politically literate people... idk what else to do?

And then in a few years a new tony blair comes along and undoes it welcome to electoral politics!
I guarantee you people barely protest this though because it doesn't involve race or offend them in any way.
A whole lot of people are just apathetic and will say tired bullshit like "I have nothing to hide!"

It'd be worthwhile looking through the bill itself and looking for the clauses in particular that cause you concern.

They're all for this. [editline]24th November 2016[/editline] Also I'm 18, they don't care about me.
I mean, if you wanna see all my weird porn you could just ask

Thats what the fucking Tories are like. And as for protests, 2011 went one better and had open violence on the streets and smashed up lots of shit, no one learned fuck all from it. So much so that it's destined to happen again, it's a powderkeg waiting to go off. They don't listen, they don't care, they do whet ever the fuck they want because no one can stop them.
https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/173199
With who is in the government this isn't going to work. People are going to have to get out and protest
The only people who care about this are the young, the older groups in the country, including people like Corbyn and Miliband, either don't care or support it. In other words it's pretty much concrete, even if we protested it wouldn't change anything considering the above.
I hope they enjoy excessive visits to e621
Write to both, you can vote in either constituency.
Fair enough, though I doubt the value of writing to our MPs... (Also are you FPing in a nightclub?)
Fair enough, though I doubt the value of writing to our MPs... (Also are you FPing in a nightclub?)
No and also while I have 2 Tories apparently my uni one is the most responsive mp in the country.
No and also while I have 2 Tories apparently my uni one is the most responsive mp in the country.
Just Snapchat, anyway, that's good. I know back home there'd be literally no point writing to our MPs. I'm just at a loss as to what we can do other than whine about it on the internet.
With who is in the government this isn't going to work. If it keeps going like this and hits 100k then Labour will at least have some grounds to argue against the bill
