I'd just like to add to that and say that I find it [B]absolutely fucking retarded[/B] that gay marriage and gay relations are considered an important issue and are often given more media coverage and discussion in government than crimes such as murder and war and other such issues.

It should be a non-issue... Surely we should have all accepted long ago that what happens between two (or more!) consenting adults is their own private business.

For the most part I guess it is the manipulative, masochistic, and perverted religious leaders that cause it to remain an issue because they still want to exert control over people.
