mid 1800's Manhattan please. Go to Five Points and go Gangs of New York up in that shit. Would be extremely interesting as well, I honestly didn't really care too much about Renaissance or Colonial America, I want to see some more obscure shit.
I think it would be totally awesome if they did an Ip Man styled main character during the Japanese occupation of Chinese territory and you get to do some old school fighting with high ranking officers as the bosses and give the beat-down.
How about you just fix the train-wreck of an ending that was AC3 first. The whole magic spesh bullshit is retarded, but it could have at least ended with less of a big "fuck you" to the player.
What big "fuck you"?
I'm really hoping it's Ancient Rome.
I really wish they would try a new IP rather than sticking with AC.
The story arc hasn't even finished though
so how will this work out when [sp]desmond died[/sp] at the ending of AC3
[sp]hopefully they finally decided that nobody liked desmond and scrap that whole story and just make it a murder simulator like everyone wanted[/sp]
New York City during the doormen's strikes in 1991 is the best setting for a new Assassin's Creed game.
Ancient Rome. please.
An Assassins Creed in Asia would be so cool. Setting-wise, it would be beautiful. http://imgur.com/a/ZIsyX
That looks absolutely amazing.
How about the roaring 20's as a setting? It's post WWI, you have all the gangsters running around and the Prohibition, and you have the KKK starting to establish themselves, not to mention it's when teachers first dared to teach evolution in schools. Maybe have the Templars orchestrate the Great Depression? Perhaps the Assassins are involved somehow in the Saint Valentine's Day Massacre? I think there's a lot of potential there.
Samurai, Ronin, and ninjas. Simple request.
Samurai, Ronin, and ninjas. Simple request.
Hattori Hanzo being your mentor. The strife between the clans. Arrival of Europeans. it's a great setting to write such a story.
[sp]hopefully they finally decided that nobody liked desmond and scrap that whole story and just make it a murder simulator like everyone wanted[/sp]
YES!!! That's pretty much why AC2 was my favorite in the series. You had the most freedom in choosing how to kill your target. That and also the variety in areas. The latter games did give you freedom with how to go about but clubbed it with the stupid sync. Dammit they should also make the game harder or at least give difficulty settings. I mean you are supposedly being hit with sharp metal objects and not by dried sticks of reed. [editline]8th February 2013[/editline] All that budget money that could have been spent on gameplay being spent on excessive amounts of cutscenes about Captain SuperBland trying to find Charles Lee. At least there was Haytham as a counterweight for Connor.
Why not Cold-War Cuba? They could probably have it that the main character stopped the Missle Crisis, punched khrushchev in the face, stopped the conflict and then partied with JFK
I'd like to see one set during the Jacobite Rebellions in Scotland.
China would work. I mean in Assassin's Creed Embers there was a hint to that...
Yugoslav wars Or balkan wars
stone age hidden bone-chip
I'd like to see one set during the Jacobite Rebellions in Scotland.
I wouldn't mind murdering some MacDonalds... Or Campbells, that works just as well.
It takes place in the near future, 2014 as the old man with the bandana exits the truck with his familiar white assassin's cloak and AK103, famous game company CEO Hideo Kojima enters from the side of the screen uttering his famous line, "DIJU RIKE IT!??", and the Assassin's Creed saga continues
I wouldn't mind murdering some MacDonalds... Or Campbells, that works just as well.
Embarrassingly, I'm a Campbell if it's taken back far enough.
World War I perhaps? We need more WWI games.
Berlin or Paris in WW2
Such an underrated game, RIP Pandemic.
I can't remember the title of it. What game was it, again?
There are some awesome fanart taking place in some Asian country.
I can't remember the title of it. What game was it, again?
The Saboteur, published by EA. Pandemics last game.
Yugoslav wars Or balkan wars
Climbing trees, hiding in the winter, fucking up some Turks and the welcomed assassinations. Balkan wars would be interesting.
-Wrong thread-
Embarrassingly, I'm a Campbell if it's taken back far enough.
Same.
The Saboteur, published by EA. Pandemics last game.
I guess you could say they went out with a bang.
World War I perhaps? We need more WWI games.
There's a reason for that. Not many games can make staying in trenches and doing nothing more for months at a time, before storming over the top and getting mowed down very interesting. WWI didn't have all that much fighting. It was mostly just turn-based slaughtering and waiting.
