Woman Sues Man Hit By Train For Injuries Caused By Flying Body Parts

What I don't understand is, if you can't exactly sue the man (in this case hes dead.) Why do you bother fucking with his family? Its not like they told him to jump across the tracks and play chicken with the train. They have no responsibility in this matter and yet you demand money from them? I understand being injured and traumatized is bad, but harassing the man's family after he's dead and gone doesn't make it right.
How are they fucking with his family? A man's estate is not his family. His own mom is suing Metra and the Railway, is she fucking with them?
Remember that whatever you leave behind when you die does not automatically belong to your family until after taxes have been paid(if needed) and all debts have been settled.

if only she were the one hit by the train
wow. you should feel horrible
"Joho could not have anticipated Zokhrabov's injuries"
And those guys have to be dead serious about things like this.
This is no different from a drunk driver hitting someone and dying in the process: the victim sues the estate of the person whose poor judgment led to their injury. Being dead isn't an escape from all debts, the estate is still accountable, just like how bank debt is still paid off even if the account holder dies.

The 164 people who blindly clicked "Agree" to wish harm upon someone based on shit they didn't understand at all (estate v family) should feel equally as horrible.
It never ceases to amaze me how ignorant to the facts some people on this forum are, to the point where they'd wish physical harm on someone who's done nothing wrong.
gotta agree with the ruling on this one
it's common sense that anything related to trains are fucking dangerous. this dude knew that. he wanted to save a few minutes by cutting across the tracks instead of using an out of the way bridge or whatever. fine. but he knew what he was doing was dangerous - stupid even.
now
A large portion of his body was thrown about 100 feet on to the southbound platform, where it struck Gayane Zokhrabov, then 58, who was waiting to catch the 8:17 a.m. train to work. She was knocked to the ground, her leg and wrist broken and her shoulder injured.
that is fucking (un)luck right there. 100 feet from the impact on to the platform where the woman was waiting? train has skills. it's not as if the woman was standing fifteen feet off the side of the tracks, she was standing well away just waiting for her train. now obviously the guy didn't intend to get killed, nor did he intend for his body chunk to land on the woman and break her leg and wrist. however, he's far more responsible than the woman or the engineer because he was the stupid cunt who decided to try his luck with a moving wall of metal. so, now this woman is semi-seriously injured. suppose she has to pay for her injuries out of pocket - is that fair? even disregarding medical expenses, I wouldn't object to a bit of compensation for pain and suffering. A god damn carcass flew into the air and hit her from 100 feet away.
Meanwhile, in America...
