Don't even start.
For an actual list of people that shaped or are currently shaping video game history, you're better off with this list.
Automerge!
I thought Jobs wanted to distance his products from gaming as far as possible, so people would "take them (his products) more seriously"...
On top of that what the hell are video games
video games, you mean like that tron movie?
I wouldn't be surprised if Steve Jobs faked his own death for attention and was living the good life on the moon.
Sounds like a knee jerk reaction since he died.
Similar to how a president who dies in office will die with a 100% approval rating, give or take 5%.
may I ask what you use it for?
Blogging
My reaction,(NSFW and gory)

What sort of black magic is this? :v:
Wait, Mark Zuckerberg?
What the fuck? Is the world suddenly full of retards?
The Woz needs more love than this Steve guy.
But anyways, there are several people who would fit this better than Steve Jobs? No mention of Gabe Newell, John Carmack, Sid Meier, Will Wright, Alexei Pajitnov, Suda51, Hideo Kojima, etc?
Hell, Stephen Spielberg would fit better onto this.
What the fuck is this from
It's from The Fly 2.
another thread for people to shit on steve jobs just for the sake of it
There's a difference between shitting on someone's name and denouncing a bullshit claim

He didn’t develop a single game, console, or arcade machine himself, but don’t tell these survey participants that.

John "Fine Steak" Carmack, Gabe "Lods of emone" Newell, Robert "Dick Shit" Kotick, Markus "Vacation Time" Perrson, just to name a few that are infinitely more influential than Steve Jobs.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apple_Bandai_Pippin
made while he wasn't part of the company.
We all know Garry is the most important man in gaming!
lol jk

In May 2006, the Pippin placed 22nd in PC World Magazine's list of the "25 Worst Tech Products of all Time"

in other news:
the man who invented the oven has been voted best cook in the world
Well to be fair, there is the iphone which is able to play shitloads of free good games or play incredibly cheap good games straight from your pocket, but even still that's Apple itself, not him directly. Even if it is directly because of him, that still doesn't make him the most influential.
Shigeru Miyamoto?
That man gave me the best childhood ever.
I guess he influenced mobile gaming quite a lot.
and?
i love my mac
your avatar is a good analogy. A robot can't eat burgers just as a mac can't play games.
I guess he influenced mobile gaming quite a lot.
Not really, mobile gaming was pretty common before he came in to play.
All the voters for him were apple fanboys. I promise.
