Bullshit. They fought to make a statement, and got shot for it. Its lucky (or unlucky!) the israelis didnt wait and sink the boat once it had passed the blockade.
Its piracy, even though it was carried out by a State.
Bullshit. They fought to make a statement, and got shot for it. Its lucky (or unlucky!) the israelis didnt wait and sink the boat once it had passed the blockade. They violated a blockade, and got bitchslapped for it. They were warned, decided to go ahead to cause controversy, and as a result, got some of their people killed. The captains are responsible for not taking israels offer.
The fought to open the fucking blockade, where are you getting you're shit from, because whoever is selling it to you, I want some of that. Actually I don't it's probably spiked with 'income tax' and 'VAT' and shit, since it's from Israel.
And good point about them being lucky they were boarded, cause knowing israel they would have sank the fucking flotilla

(excuse the pun) They have no political, or legal backing for what they have done, both with the raid or the blockade in general. It is not internationally recognised and the ships were never under Israel's jurisdiction. They never had to do anything Israel said. Thus Israel's attack was a criminal one. This is the worst single event for Israel politically than the Gazan conflict major.
And really, you want them to stop fighting back. Fucking cowardice that is, people rarely bend over to take a tyrant up their arse.
Not cowardice, intelligence. Either way theyre going to get bitchslapped, as happened today, because israel has a much bigger army. Its that simple. Israel can do what it likes, as it has the bigger guns. Stop being juveniling and shouting 'fight the power!'. That just gets people killed, when they should instead be fighting through diplomatic means for the rights of the palestinian people.
And good point about them being lucky they were boarded, cause knowing israel they would have sank the fucking flotilla
I don't think even Israel is that stupid. NATO would have opened a can of whoop-ass if they ever did. [editline]08:16PM[/editline]
Israel can do what it likes,
Lol, I'll like you to say that again if Israel ever gets sanctioned the fuck up.

Oh and you do know that the next flotilla is getting a turkish naval guard right? :downs: Let's see if Israel has the fucking stones to try the same act again shall we?

As i thought, to accomplish nothing but getting their arses kicked and putting their people in danger. What a childish thing to do. Remember how they bombed the shit out of lebannon, they didnt get sanctioned for that. Theyre hardly going to be sanctioned for shooting 10 people on a ship. I didnt say that it was RIGHT they can do that, but its the stark reality. If you have the power, and others dont, you can do it. This was demonstrated. Unfortunately, israel wont back down. Its clear you idiots want a war that will cost lives, rather than swallowing your pride, because hey, we know thats more important than the lives of civilians.

Really what the fuck did it achieve. And lovely, you've resorted to petty insults, ran out of ammunition already?
Keeping out of the argument here, am I the only one to find it odd that there were freshly out of boxed laptops and cameras on an International Aid Ship. Look at them, they still have the protective plastic on them. Kinda odd, as seeing helpful supplies were supposed to be on that ship. Let alone cameras and laptops can be weaponized.

Its a simple statement. Israel look for any excuse to bomb palestinians. Stop supplying them a reason, and try and fight them through a way that will not cost lives. It succeeded in giving the jewish people a homeland after centuries of persecution at the hands of muslims and christians, and was originally hebrew land until the ottomons displaced and killed them. Know your fucking history before commenting.
Its clear you idiots want a war that will cost lives, rather than swallowing your pride, because hey, we know thats more important than the lives of civilians.
"Bow to us and perhaps we will let you live in squalor some more"
"Bow to us and perhaps we will let you live in squalor some more"
No, stop fighting using guns and approach them on a diplomatic level, like the IRA did. Prove you re not a security threat, so the blockade can be stopped and once again you can have open borders. Prove you are better than using suicide bombers indiscriminately. Stop trying to boil it down to metaphors and similes that dont in any way represent the current situation.
No, stop fighting using guns and approach them on a diplomatic level, like the IRA did. Also; fuck the little people."
You're a self-proclaimed zionist, you're going to disagree with everything I say.
Address the post please. Im self proclaimed supporter of israels existence, not every action they ever undertake. Also, say something useful other than israel hate and i might agree with it. You know, relevant to the current situation rather than pulling similes and metaphors out your arse.
http://idfspokesperson.files.wordpress.com/2010/06/9.jpg It's common practice to carry these on any vessel. I'm into sailing and I think (Although don't quote me on this) that it's actually maritime law to carry them if you're going offshore.
Address the post please. Im self proclaimed supporter of israels existence, not every action they ever undertake.
Do you think that sinking the ship instead would of been a better solution?
You guys clearly don't understand. It's not the weapons that were suspected to have been given to the Hamas, it's the items used against the commandos boarding the ship. You can clearly see in this video: That the commandos were lynched by a big mob, they had to use lethal weapons to protect themselves, or they would have died.
Yep, they were totally justified, it's not like they were violating international law and were legally defined as pirates as they flew 250 miles offshore of Israel and into international waters to attack a bunch of civilian aid ships. That's like saying it's ok that a burglar murdered some homeowner, because if he didn't the homeowner was going to shoot him first.
There's nothing in your post to address that I haven't already, and I don't think you're sure of what a simile/metaphor is.
That's for sure.
If the Freedom Flotilla tries again they should ask the U.S. to lend them a patrol boat or a destroyer as an escort. I'm sure they'd say yes, The 6th Fleet is stationed in Italy and they're just dying for something to do.
Do you think that sinking the ship instead would of been a better solution?
No,i dont. A better solution would have been for the ships to dock in israel, have the goods checked, then taken to the west bank. And even better solution would have been to allow the ship to be checked at sea. Then everyone would have been happy, and the aid would have been delivered. 'trying to break the blockade' is silly, as it was obvious it would fail with catastropic consequences. Instead, more and more pressure should have been placed in the UN.

Which basically includes all building materials.
That's for sure.
Wrong. A metaphor is using an example which is same as the subject being addressed, and a simile is refering to something LIKE the example. Once again, attack me and not the arguement, as you have nothing meaningful to say apart from to scream at israel like little children oblvious to how the world works.
Distress flares used to burn soldiers? Hahaha. :v:

Metaphor; Indirect comparison without using the words like or as. I just fucking studied it.
As we've said before, it would've taken months for the goods to be distributed by Israel and they would've confiscated all "non-essential luxuries". They shouldnt have been brought at all, and bringing them was about causing a conflict.
And like ive said, these goods are not allowed into palestine by the israelis. They shouldnt have been brought at all, and bringing them was about causing a conflict.
Palestine is not Israel, why should they be dictated by them?
