The RIAA and the BPI both face the same fate if they want to take on Google. Let's hope they try.
Bubba Gump Shrimp? Really?
Good, the hypocrytes get what the deserve.
I usually don't care about this crap, but I find it stupid to challenge Google. They have become so powerful that they have all their bases already covered.
Viacom seem to own everything, weren't they some how connected to Valve in the past? I seem to recall they took down a few HL2 / TF2 videos off Youtube at one point.
Bubba Gump Shrimp? Really?
From Wikipedia: In 1995 Viacom Consumer Products, the licensing division for Paramount Pictures, approached Rusty Pelican’s CEO, Scott Barnet, and partner, Gordon Miles, with the idea of a chain of family-style shrimp restaurants carrying out the “Forrest Gump” theme. Soon after, Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. Restaurants, Inc. was formed as a new restaurant chain in a joint enterprise with Paramount Pictures. And there you have it, Viacom owns a seafood restaurant chain. :wtc:
That was EA.
I was talking about this http://www.facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=640853 It seems it was just one of the many things Viacom claimed they owned (Aren't google sueing them for that as well?)
If Viacom is so big then why do they care about some youtube video somewhere?
If Viacom is so big then why do they care about some youtube video somewhere?
Because they're making no money on it, duh. Also, anyone remember when Viacom was actually good? I do.
This would be why The Pirate Bay can live.
