Which you don't need a gun capable of killing someone with to compete in.
To compete in high powered rifle sports I certainly do. A .22 rifle is a world's difference in handling compared to mid-size cartridge rifles.
There's no reason it shouldn't be. Bayonets can be especially deadly, and mosins fire rounds larger than AR-15s or AK-47s are chambered for in the first place.
Yeah I'm pretty sure you're just a troll now. Even anti gun people aren't this dumb
Yeah I'm pretty sure you're just a troll now. Even anti gun people aren't this dumb
5 shots from a mosin could kill multiple people per shot, then you get closer and stab away with the bayonet. How is this a good thing? Why should it be legal? (User was banned for this post ("Trolling" - GunFox))
the number of lawful things you can do with a match exceeds that of a gun by miles, what a ridiculous argument
Actually I doubt it.
the number of lawful things you can do with a match exceeds that of a gun by miles, what a ridiculous argument
How exactly do you quantify that number? Is a criminal shooting someone and killing them count as one unlawful thing, and shooting but not killing count as another unlawful thing?

(User was banned for this post ("Trolling" - GunFox))
if you managed to get multiple people to stand still in a line while you shot them, the issue would be banning mind control not a 19th century weapon
Apparently penetration is only a thing with 7.62x54r
For a quick understanding of the NFA.... The background check is done[very similar to the 4473], but you're forced to pay a $200 tax stamp, forced to wait four to six months for a single piece of paper, and each one of your firearms will require this. This is completely unconstitutional, and it breaches the 2nd, 4th, and 8th Amendments of the United States Constitution.
Wow, that sounds horrible. And I don't even own any firearms.
the number of lawful things you can do with a match exceeds that of a gun by miles, what a ridiculous argument
Matches are only for one thing. Starting fires. You know....arson.
Wow, that sounds horrible. And I don't even own any firearms.
It's the current setup for several things listed as 'Type 2'. It's pretty depressing really.
I think I'll just leave this here.
i enjoy that he brought up statistics but i'm fairly certain uk has a completely different way of evaluating crime stats. "violent crimes" is a whole lot more broader than "violence against a person."

U.S. is not far off from this definition. Stats are likely still comparable.
Feinstein's is a fucking tool. She is acting like guns just jump up and shoot people. And, to be honest, a god damn "asault wepon!1!!!" was not used in the massacre. It was a damn handgun. For a matter of fact, a shotgun can kill around multiple people with a single shotgun shell given the circumstances. Does this mean knocking off detachable mags would do a god damn thing? Get the hell out, feinstein.

She wants to make it seem like the only reason you'd want to own one is to commit a crime. I personally hate the term "assault weapon" because it's incredibly dumb. If you use a weapon to assault someone, it's an assault weapon. That can be anything from an AK with a 100-round drum to a book to your goddamn fist. It's all just a bunch of fear-mongering bullshit.
