The phone isnt bad. The company that sells it, is.
hate the player, not the game
I still find it funny because all of the Apple iPhone cases i've seen are required to show the apple on the back of the phone.
It's not required. Most people like to see the Apple logo on the back of their phone though, so the logical thing to do would be to make a case that keeps logo exposed.
Most people like to see the Apple logo on the back of their phone though
I don't understand that, for some reason I've always preferred my devices to have no obvious identifying marks. I've nearly always bought printed screen protectors or replacement battery doors without any kind of logo. I'm not ashamed of the brands I buy either, its odd.
100 000 000$ profit in the first day, another 500 000 000$ in the end of the week. This is world-coordinated marketing.
My brother has been buying the iPod touch for a while, and he recently got an iPhone - the honest truth is I can barely tell the difference between the first iPod touch UI and the iPhone UI. Meanwhile, Android has made huge leaps in the user friendliness and overall feel off the interface since the first version. I'm not saying the iPhone is a bad phone, the UI just feels really dated and basic.
Basic UI is not a bad thing if you want something that is easy to browse. And sure, the UI has been around for a while, and it hasn't changed much at all because it hasn't needed changing. Now Android, god, it was a sluggy piece of shit, so it needed a huge upgrade (and ICS is the only Android OS that I feel does get away from the sluggishness which is about time). Change isn't always bad, what isn't broken doesn't need fixed.

"It hasn't needed changing" is honestly as outdated of an excuse as the operating system itself, ironically. The fact that iPhones have massively dropped in comparison to Android in the phone market shows that it kinda DOES need changing. ICS has been a major improvement and I've loved using it - whereas when I use my brothers iPhone it feels like I'm using technology from 6 years ago with new stickers tacked on to it.

Didn't they already have 9 million preorder?
And in 8 months the iPhone 5 will hit 15 million in sales!
LOOK WHAT YOU'VE STARTED
hey I didn't know some random on a webforum is qualified to say why people like me buy iPhones [editline]25th June 2012[/editline] Haha I was so tired when I wrote that, I think I meant to say that a lot of people buy it out of pure personal choice and that's fine, Im not fanboying other phones I was just saying you tend to get a lot of people buying it because it's an iPhone, not everybody though My baaaaaad mine doesn't, and there are only a few cases that leave the apple open
